🚨 Urgent prayer request. 🚨 Our good friend Bryan, whom we recently brought on staff to lead our anti-trafficking efforts, is in the ER with elevated blood pressure, and it won't come down, in spite of meds.

He has been dealing with several physical illnesses over the last few days that have cropped up out of nowhere.

We believe this is likely an attack of the enemy.

Regardless, the One to whom we turn is always the same: Jesus.

Please say a prayer for Bryan right now.

Would be much appreciated.

Moses struck the rock when God commanded him to speak. This act of disobedience barred him from the Promised Land. While Moses represented the Law, Joshua (Yeshua, like Jesus) led the people in. The Law has limits; only grace, only Jesus, can lead us into salvation.

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗰𝗸

Let me ask you a question.

When you fail...

when you blow it

when you fall short

when you do the thing you said you wouldn't do again...

what motivates you to get back up?

For most believers, the honest answer is GUILT.

And here's the problem with that.

Guilt is a lousy motivator.

It might get you moving.

But it won't keep you moving.

And it definitely won't change you.

Here's what I mean...

If guilt actually worked, you'd have been fixed a long time ago.

You've felt guilty plenty of times.

You've made the promises.

You've rededicated.

You've white-knuckled your way through a season.

And then it happened AGAIN.

Not because you're weak.

Not because you don't love God.

But because guilt produces behavior modification...
.. and God is after something far deeper than that.

Here's the thing most people miss:

Galatians 4:19 says Paul travailed in birth "until Christ is formed in you."

Not RULES formed in you.

Not DISCIPLINE formed in you.

CHRIST formed in you.

The goal was never to make you a better version of yourself.

The goal was always for Christ to be fully expressed through you.

That changes everything about how you approach your failures.

You don't get back up because you feel guilty.

You get back up because of who you are.

Because of WHO has been placed inside you.

Because the same Spirit that raised Christ from the dead lives in you... and He doesn't quit.

Read that again.

Bottom Line:

Guilt says, "You should be better."

Grace says, "You already are... now live like it."

One of those is a treadmill. The other is a launching pad.

Stop running on the treadmill.

So great to have Bryan with us last weekend in the ATL. Here to ramp up the fight against modern slav*ry.

He's stepping into the fray for the sake of those without a voice... sold like cattle for the wicked's use.

FREEDOM. RESTORATION. And PREVENTION are on the agenda.

What an incredible Sunday unpacking transformative Truth for believers at Living Hope Church in Athens with my old friend Shanon Hayes and my new friend, Senior Pastor David Holt!

So blessed by their hospitality and their authentic worship and love for Jesus.
