Tori keeps the numbers right, keeps the board in line, asks the questions that need to be asked, and somehow manages to keep tabs on us from thousands of miles away. 😂

We are incredibly grateful for her commitment to HGI and for continuing to pour into the work no matter where life takes her.

Y’all know we love finding out who’s REALLY doing the work in our community. 💕

Recently, I learned that Acres & Oak Kitchen on Forsyth Road in Macon helps provide meals to breast cancer patients during surgery and treatment.

And listen… that deserves some LOVE. 🩷

No big announcement. No need for a spotlight. Just a local business using what they do every day to make somebody’s difficult season a little easier.

We also got a chance to experience their customer service firsthand, and it was TOP TIER.

So today, we are giving them their flowers. 💐

If you’re looking for somewhere to grab a meal, cater an event, bless somebody with dinner, or simply spend your dollars with a business that pours back into people remember Acres & Oak.

THIS is what LEGACY looks like. 🖤

That little boy in the first picture? He wasn’t just wearing an HGI shirt.

He was already volunteering.

Years later, he’s still part of HGI, still serving his community, now one of our Junior Athletes, and today he’ll take the football field wearing #5 against Warner Robins Middle School. 🏈🔥

Same kid. Same heart for service. New season.

THIS is why we call it the Legacy Tee.

For us, legacy isn’t just about how long HGI has been around. It’s about the young people who have literally grown up alongside this organization, volunteering, serving, learning, and eventually becoming examples for the kids coming behind them.

And today, we get to watch one of ours do his thing on the field. 🖤
