✨ What a fun-filled week we’ve had! ✨

We enjoyed a magical Disney Day filled with lots of fun Disney crafts! 🏰✨ We’ve also been busy creating beautiful artwork for our upcoming Open House. 🎨

We enjoyed getting out into the community for a delicious lunch at Chick-fil-A, and we got a new bird feeder hung up and ready for some feathered visitors! 🐦

We spent some time learning about the history and importance of National Hispanic Heritage Month and celebrated with a fun craft. 🌎❤️

Our cooking skills were put to work as we prepared baked macaroni and cheese with hamburger meat. It was a delicious way to practice our kitchen skills! 🧀👩‍🍳

We’re ending this fun Friday with some Georgia Bulldog activities as we celebrate football season starting this weekend! ❤️🖤🏈

It has been a wonderful week filled with creativity, learning, community outings, new experiences, and lots of smiles. We hope everyone has a happy, relaxing, and safe Labor Day weekend! 🇺🇸❤️

🦋✨ Weekly Recap: Creativity, Kindness & Community! ✨🦋

What a wonderful week filled with creativity, kindness, good food, and community adventures! 💙

🎨 Creative Creations: We gave egg cartons a second life by turning them into beautiful butterflies! 🦋 We also let our imaginations take flight as we made our very own magic wands. ✨

💌 Spreading Kindness: In honor of National Be Kind to Humankind Week, our individuals created cheerful cards filled with kindness and joy. We took them downtown in Lavonia and shared them with local businesses to brighten someone’s day! ❤️

🍽️ Lunch Out: We enjoyed a delicious lunch together at Downtown Biscuit Barn in Lavonia. Good food and even better company made for a great outing! 🥰

🎶 Celebrating Dolly Parton: We paid tribute to the one and only Dolly Parton by creating colorful paintings inspired by her and including some of our favorite Dolly lyrics and quotes. 🎨🎤

🐴🐐 Farm Friends: We also visited Brecht Stables & Dustin's Place where we got to see goats, chickens, horses, and even a donkey! 🐓🐐🐴🫏 It was a fun opportunity to get out into the community and enjoy some time with our four-legged friends.

Every outing and activity is another opportunity to learn, connect, create, and make a difference in our community!🤍

What a fun and busy week! 💙 We had lots of opportunities to learn, create, explore, and spend time together!

📖 We started working on a scrapbook to celebrate our 1-Year Anniversary Open House! We’re excited to fill it with memories from our first year. 🎉

🛍️ We enjoyed a shopping day in Toccoa, visiting Marshall’s and Ollie’s. It was a great day out in the community!

🌱 Our basil plant is growing! We checked in with an update picture and are excited to see how much more it grows.

🍽️ We put our cooking skills to work and made sloppy Joe cheesy tater tots—a delicious twist that everyone enjoyed!

📸 For National Photography Day, everyone got creative and made their own cameras. We had lots of fun exploring photography and creativity together!

📻 We also had the wonderful opportunity to tour WHLR Radio Station! A big thank-you to Daniel Brown for welcoming our group and showing us around. We truly appreciate the chance to learn more about our local community and radio station! 92.1 WLHR Lake Hartwell Radio

🌟 What an AMAZING week! 🦁🎨🎳

We had a week full of creativity, laughter, and plenty of fun! Our artists painted incredible lions, created 3D mountain artwork, and even designed our own unique vinyl record paintings. 🎨🖌️

We also headed out for a fun-filled day of bowling and pizza! 🎳🍕 There were lots of smiles, friendly competition, and great memories made.

And just when we thought the week couldn’t get any more exciting… we had a surprise visit from one of our clients dressed as Elvis! 🎤🕺 What a fun surprise and a fantastic way to add some rock ‘n’ roll to our week!

We are so proud of all the creativity, participation, and joy our individuals bring each week. ❤️

🌟 Weekly Highlights! 🌟

We had a fun and busy week filled with creativity, learning, cooking, and community outings! 🎨🍳🚌

🍑 We celebrated National Georgia Day by creating Georgia-themed paintings and showing our Georgia pride!

🥞 In cooking class, we enjoyed making and eating delicious pancakes and eggs while practicing kitchen skills and working together.

🎨 We had plenty of opportunities to get creative and enjoyed making art throughout the week.

🚦 We learned about National Step on Red Week, focusing on street and pedestrian safety. We put what we learned into action by creating a safety-themed painting!

🛍️ We enjoyed a community outing to Hartwell, where we stopped at Wendy’s for lunch and visited Goodwill and Dollar Tree. It was a great day out in the community!

🌊 To celebrate National Lighthouse Day, the group worked together to create their very own lighthouses. What a creative way to celebrate!

We are proud of all the learning, creativity, teamwork, and community participation we experienced this week! ❤️

What a wonderful week we’ve had! ❤️ Our days were filled with learning, creativity, friendship, and fun. We were so excited to see our tomato plant finally turn red! 🍅 Watching something we’ve cared for continue to grow has been so rewarding. We also enjoyed giving back to our community by making heartfelt cards 💌 for the residents at Brown Nursing Home in Royston, hoping to brighten their day with a little kindness.

One of the highlights of our week was participating in the Lavonia Library Summer Reading Program 📚, where we learned about different birds 🐦 and even got to feel bird wings—a fun hands-on experience that everyone enjoyed! Our creativity continued to shine as we worked on a variety of art projects 🎨, shared a delicious lunch at Zaxby’s 🍗, and made tasty nachos during cooking class.

We also celebrated International Day of Friendship 🤝 by creating meaningful crafts that reminded us how special our friendships are, and we honored National Park Ranger Day 🌲🥾 by learning about the important work park rangers do and making a themed craft to show our appreciation. We wrapped up this amazing week with lots of smiles and dancing 💃🕺 at the summer dance hosted by CSP!

We’re so thankful for another week filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and making wonderful memories together. We can’t wait to see what next week has in store! ☀️💙
