Wagging Tails Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs from high-kill shelters and owner surrenders. Our work is possible due to committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities. We provide them with loving temporary homes where they stay until they find their forever homes. We also pr

omote responsible pet ownership, including the importance of spay/neuter, positive behavior training, and good nutrition.

Penelope and her Precious Pups are ready to find their forever homes! This cute 11 lb Momma is friendly, uses a doggy door and is full of energy. Her pups are all sweet, social and ready to join homes where they can be trained into well-mannered family members. Momma is a Poodle mix and we are guessing Daddy was a Jack Russell Terrier based on the pups.

Jersey's adoption appointment for later today just canceled but we haven't told him the bad news yet - we are hoping someone out there is looking for a fun buddy who loves to play with toys and cuddle! Jersey is a 3 month old Shepherd/Cattle Dog mystery mix (best guess) who is expected to be around 40 lbs when fully grown.

Ripley is a 50% German Shepherd mix with some pitbull and husky (DNA tested) with lots of energy! She plays fetch, loves tug, keeps up on long hikes, can play with certain dogs, and has learned lots of tricks, even some agility basics. Ripley is clever, loves to learn and please her handler, will work for treats and toys. She is approximately 18 months old and 38 lbs.

Lalo recently joined us after his original family wasn't ready for a puppy. Besides being incredibly handsome, he is charming too! This sweet boy gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and loves to play! He is a smart, food-motivated boy who will excel in a home with the time and interest in training him. Lalo is 14 weeks old and currently weighs 20 lbs; he is estimated to be around 60 lbs when fully grown.

Zoey originally joined us after her person passed away. She was adopted but due to her new person's declining health, she is back and looking for her forever home. She lived with several other dogs of all sizes (including bossy Chihuahuas!) and gets along well with every dog that she has met. Zoey is a happy girl who likes to play with toys! She is treat motivated which will make her a good candidate for training - she needs some work on her leash skills and controlling her happy exuberance! Zoey is not a fan of the crate so a home where she can free roam is ideal; she'd also like to share your bed if you'll allow it. Zoey is 3 years old and currently weighs around 90 lbs

Although named for a big, tough guy, Khal is a total teddy bear! This one year old boy is fun and always happy. He loves to play, both with his humans, other dogs or any toy he can get his paws on. Khal is potty trained using a dog door and sleeps in a crate at night, although he'd prefer to snuggle in bed.

Khal is a petite 20 lbs, so you get the fun of a big dog but the easy portability of a much smaller one! Khal is food motivated and will excel in further training. Apply to meet him today at https://waggingtailsrescue.org/dog-adoption/

**Adopted** Doesn't it look like Dakota is giving us a look like, "really, I'm the last one picked?" This cute boy was the runt of his litter and the foster's favorite, he has grown into a friendly, cuddly, fun boy who loves kids and other dogs! Dakota is now 12 weeks old, he is a true mix of mixes, maybe some hound dog of some type, he is expected to be a small/medium sized dog when fully grown, likely somewhere between 20-30 lbs.
