Tis the season for wishes to come true! Kevin is joining us in Moapa, Nevada for a 3 day Fundamentals Workshop January 23-25.

If your dog is wishing for a little help in the field, you’re in luck - there are still a few working spots and audit spots too - and some private lessons. I cant remember the last time we had a training seminar or this calibur in our neck of the woods and I’ve personally made sure my friends and family got their spots and that Ralph knew I wanted private lessons for Christmas.

Andy Andrews is An Expert in Rattlesnake Aversion Training. WHIN will be holding a class on the weekend of Nov 16th & 17th. The final date and time(s) will be selected once we confirm enrollment of a minimum of 12 dogs registered for the training.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support our first fall Junior/Senior Double Header. I’m incredibly thankful for everyone who jumped in to ensure every aspect flowed so smoothly!

A special thank you to our wonderful judges who not only made the trek out, but spent so much time patiently mentoring our apprentice judges (and myself through all the paperwork of being hunt test secretary). Another special thank you to Lewis Ranch for the use of their beautiful grounds.

The next LVHRC Training Day will be held at Glendale Exit 91, across from Terrible's. Meet at 08:00am.

Please come ready to help set up and keep the day moving smoothly. This is a club practice activity, open to all LVHRC members, so if everyone pitches in to help, it is beneficial for all. Should you plan to just drop in, run your dog and leave, please expect to contribute $10/dog to the fund that pays to hire youth to man our stations.

It will be run as a mock test.

Please RSVP and include the name and stake of each dog you plan to run.

Remember to bring your whistles, e-collar, a chair to sit on, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, and water for you and your pup.
