Sometimes, change doesnโt happen all at once. It starts quietly.
It begins the moment you realize you are tired of always being the one who understands, adjusts, and forgives, even when you are the one who is hurting.
It starts when you notice how much of yourself you have been giving away. You pour your love, your time, and your patience into everyone else, only to end the day feeling empty.
And slowly, something in you shifts.
You stop begging for the bare minimum. You stop trying to prove that you deserve honesty, effort, and respect. You stop shrinking yourself just to keep others comfortable.
You begin to choose your own peace, even when others do not understand it, even when it might disappoint someone, and even when it means letting go of the version of you who only knew how to survive.
Then, one day, you finally start choosing yourself without the weight of guilt.
Not because you stopped caring.
Not because you turned cold.
Not because you are no longer loving.
But because you finally understand that your heart matters, too.
To the woman who is quietly healing and learning to come back to herself: This is your reminder. You are allowed to grow. You are allowed to choose peace. You are allowed to love yourself enough to stop abandoning your own heart.
Save this for the days you need a reminder, and share it with a woman who deserves to hear this today. ๐
