A new reminder to remember, honor, and never forget. πŸ’œπŸ§‘

A Forever One Memorial billboard is now up along I-15, facing southbound traffic entering Las Vegas from California, between the Starr and Cactus Avenue exits.

More than a billboard, this is an opportunity to honor the 58 lives lost on October 1, 2017, recognize the survivors and first responders, and remember the families and countless others whose lives were forever changed that day.

The billboard also helps bring awareness to the Forever One Memorial, a permanent place of remembrance being created to honor those impacted.

Thank you to Olympia Media for generously donating the billboard space, helping us share this message of remembrance with those entering our community.

A small gesture of gratitude for those who continue to serve our community.

This week, Forever One Memorial volunteers Sue Ann Cornwell and Teche Bergeron stopped by LVMPD headquarters to drop off donuts and show their support for our local law enforcement officers.

Following the loss of one officer and the serious incident involving another, they wanted to take a moment to say thank you for all they do to protect and serve our community. Their gesture is a meaningful reminder of the connection between the Route 91 community and the first responders who were there for so many on October 1, 2017.

We’re grateful for our volunteers and their continued efforts to support our community, honor those impacted, and help bring awareness to the Forever One Memorial. πŸ’œ

Volunteer Spotlight: Sue Nelson πŸ’œ

Behind every step forward for the Forever One Memorial are dedicated volunteers who help bring our mission to life. Sue Nelson is one of those extraordinary individuals. Sue has supported the Healing Garden for many years, and is one of our earliest volunteers.

Although she calls Lake Havasu City, Arizona home, she regularly travels to Las Vegas to volunteer and even joined us in Carson City for Advocacy Day last year. Sue's passion for the memorial extends far beyond her volunteer hours.

From creating her own Forever One Memorial swag to displaying a banner on the back of her truck, she proudly shares our mission wherever she goes, helping raise awareness and inspire others to get involved.

Sue reminds us that one person truly can make a lasting impact. Thank you for your unwavering dedication, advocacy, and heart. We are honored to have you as part of the Forever One Memorial family.

We're incredibly grateful to have a community that believes in the vision of the Forever One Memorial.

A sincere thank you to Super Summer Theatre At Spring Mountain Ranch State Park for generously donating advertising space in their program to help raise awareness of the memorial throughout Southern Nevada. Partnerships like these help us connect with more people and continue building support for a permanent place of remembrance, reflection, and hope.

Thank you for helping us share our mission and for being a valued part of this journey. πŸ’œπŸ§‘

A milestone we've all been waiting for. πŸ§‘πŸ’œ

We're excited to share that the Forever One Memorial groundbreaking will take place on Friday, October 2, 2026. This marks a significant step forward in creating a permanent place to honor the 58 lives lost, survivors, first responders, and all those impacted by October 1.

While we're still finalizing the details for this meaningful community event, we encourage everyone to save the date as we prepare to take this historic next step together. Reaching this milestone has only been possible because of the unwavering support of our community. Every donation, commemorative paver, volunteer hour, and person who has believed in the vision of the Forever One Memorial has helped bring us closer to this moment.

Thank you for being part of this journey. We look forward to celebrating this milestone with you as we continue building a place of remembrance, healing, and hope for generations to come.

Love has a way of inspiring something even greater.

We recently received a donation from someone who shared they were inspired by the wedding celebration of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce and wanted to turn that joyful moment into an act of kindness.

At Forever One Memorial, we believe compassion creates a ripple effect. One person's generosity can inspire another, building a community rooted in remembrance, healing, and hope. Every act of giving helps us continue our mission of honoring lives and supporting those navigating grief.

To our donor, thank you for reminding us that moments of celebration can inspire meaningful impact. Your kindness is helping ensure that love continues to reach those who need it most.

Our team had the privilege of visiting the Clark County Museum to tour the Route 91 archives and learn more about the incredible work being done to preserve the memories of October 1.

The archive holds more than 22,000 items collected from the memorial at the Welcome to Fabulous Las Vegas sign, each one representing a story, a life, and the love and support shared by our community in the days and months that followed.

We are grateful to the team at Clark County Museum for their dedication, care, and commitment to preserving these meaningful artifacts for future generations.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us and for helping ensure these memories continue to be honored and remembered.

We're grateful for the opportunity to share the mission behind the Forever One Memorial with our community.

A special thank you to Sammi and the team at 95.5 The Bull for helping tell the story of the memorial and the people working to bring it to life.

Sunday's interview aired across 95.5 The Bull, Sunny 106.5, and Neon 93.1, giving listeners a closer look at the vision, progress, and purpose behind the project. We're also incredibly thankful to our Executive Director, Tennille, and Route 91 survivor and dedicated volunteer, Sue Ann, for sharing their passion and helping spread awareness of the memorial's mission.

Every conversation helps us move one step closer to creating a place of remembrance, healing, and hope for our community. πŸ’œπŸ§‘

On Sunday, August 16, The Bull is hosting Country in the Cove at The M Resort pool, and a portion of every ticket sold directly benefits the Forever One Memorial to honor and remember those impacted by the Route 91 tragedy.
