The Covarrubias-Aprendamos Foundation is proud to support Arrey Elementary School’s folklórico dance program, a meaningful initiative that gives students the opportunity to celebrate their culture, build confidence, and share their talents with their community.

For more than 20 years, folklórico has brought generations of students and families together in Arrey. Through our support, students have access to essential folklórico attire and resources that help them participate fully in performances and continue this cherished tradition.

We are honored to invest in programs that celebrate our children, preserve cultural traditions, and strengthen the connections that bring our communities together. ❤️

Aprendamos Family of Services and the Covarrubias-Aprendamos Foundation were honored to sponsor the 34th Annual Empty Bowls event benefiting El Caldito Soup Kitchen. ✨

The Empty Bowls event brings awareness to food insecurity and the reality of hunger in our community. Each handcrafted bowl, generously donated by local artists, serves as a reminder of those who face hunger and the importance of ensuring everyone has access to a nourishing meal.

El Caldito Soup Kitchen works tirelessly every day to help fight hunger and support our neighbors in need. We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support their mission and make a positive impact in our local community. 👏

Together, we can help ensure no one in our community goes hungry.

We’re honored to welcome Dr. Bernadette Montoya as the Keynote Speaker for the 2026 Tri-Unity Conference!

A native New Mexican, Dr. Montoya has built an accomplished career across public education, higher education, student services, and leadership development. From beginning her career as a first-grade teacher to serving as Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management at New Mexico State University, her work has focused on strengthening systems, supporting people, and creating meaningful change.

At this year’s conference, Dr. Montoya will present:

“Carrying the Work Without Carrying It All: What We Can Carry and What We Can Put Down”

Today, she continues her work as a leadership development facilitator and coach, helping individuals and organizations navigate change and strengthen their leadership capacity. She is certified in Appreciative Inquiry and Change Intelligence, trained in Dare to Lead, and is a frequent presenter, panelist, and keynote speaker.

We’re excited to welcome Madison Rowlison, OTD as a featured speaker at the 2026 Tri-Unity Conference!

Madison is an Occupational Therapist with a background in pediatric care and a strong focus on trauma-informed occupational therapy. She earned her Occupational Therapy Doctorate from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and, in 2025, became an endorsed Infant Family Specialist and Reflective Supervisor through the New Mexico Association of Infant Mental Health.

In addition to direct client care, Madison is passionate about research and education. Her academic experience includes work with the University of Illinois at Chicago and the University of Texas at El Paso, supporting research courses, serving as a Clinical Instructor for Level II Fieldwork students, and teaching as an adjunct professor at UTEP.

At this year’s conference, she will present:

“Understanding Regulation Through a Trauma-Informed Lens”

We’re excited to welcome Angelina Valdespino, LCSW as a featured speaker at the 2026 Tri-Unity Conference!

Angelina is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Board Approved Clinical Supervisor, and College Assistant Professor in the School of Social Work at New Mexico State University. With more than two decades in social work, her experience spans community mental health, inpatient and residential care, treatment foster care, clinical practice, education, and private practice.

Her work and teaching explore trauma-responsive care, clinical intervention, the intersection of autism and trauma, the impacts of intimate partner violence, and opportunities for meaningful systemic and structural change.

At this year’s conference, Angelina will present:
