Please join us in welcoming Erin Leyba, our new Operations Manager at the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado & Wyoming!

Erin is a longtime Colorado resident, a mom of four, a dog mom of two, and someone who loves a good book, family adventures, and a spontaneous road trip. Here's a little more about Erin in her own words:

"I'm a wife, mom of four, and dog mom to two. I've lived in Colorado for many years and love calling it home. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, embracing the craziness of the holiday season, and keeping up with the busy chaos of everyday life. I love getting lost in a good book and am always up for a road trip, especially when it means making memories with my family along the way.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone in person, whether that's in the office, on a team walk, or at one of our events. I'm truly excited to be part of this team and can't wait to get to know all of you!"

The Ammons Horn Dinner is taking place this week on Wednesday October 28th at 5:00 PM, located at the The Rose Event Center, Golden CO.

The Ammon's Horn Society is a cocktail reception, dinner program, and gathering of local neurologists, epileptologists, specialists, and other medical professionals in the epilepsy field. The Ammon’s Horn Society offers a space for cross-collaboration, networking, and learning.

In addition to the dinner and networking time, the evening will feature a presentation given by expert speakers selected by our Professional Advisory Board.

This event is free to attend for medical professionals in the epilepsy space.

Our last session of the AI webinar series is coming up on October 28th, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM.

Our presenter is Anthony DiDonato, AI Program Manager at Coalition for Health AI (CHAI). The session title is AI in Administration and Billing. This webinar will go over how to integrate AI into your administrative and billing processes.

Meet Timmy! 💛🦆

From drawing his favorite animal to picking out his favorite duck, Timmy brings plenty of personality and joy to everything he does!

As a student in UW’s Inclusive Postsecondary Education (IPSE) program, Timmy has loved making new friends, attending classes, and getting involved in the community. He currently works three jobs (and would happily work more if he had the time!) because he loves the opportunity to meet and connect with people.

One of his favorite classes right now is theatre, where he’s preparing for an upcoming performance of The Nutcracker! 🎭🩰 And his favorite part of theatre? In Timmy’s words, getting to dance with pretty girls! 💃

Meet Enrique, one of our IPSE students! His favorite colors are pink and purple, and his favorite classes are Biography and Geography. Enrique’s favorite part about Connecting Pokes @ 7220 is living on campus and experiencing college, and he loves the Dinosaur Museum!

Giving Day is coming up on October 21 and 22 from noon to noon. This Giving Day, donations will support scholarships for our students.
