Ark was honored to be included at the Developmental Disabilities Conference. Thank you to The Wyoming Governor's Council on Developmental Disabilities and The Wyoming Heritage Hotel for hosting us.

Lucille has been with Ark as a Direct Support Professional since 2018 and is a Certified DSP. Lucille's kind heart and great sense of humor make her ideal to work in a group home with 6 ladies! Myka is a wonderful DSP who is eager to learn! She recently joined our DSP Certification class and plans to be Certified in October! She works at 2 different group homes and with a few other people who live more independently. She provides trauma-informed care with her strong philosophical approach! Celebrating DSP of the Year Nominee Chelsea Gurzo!
Ark Regional Services is proud to celebrate Chelsea Gurzo, one of our nominees for Wyoming’s Direct Support Professional of the Year! Chelsea brings remarkable calm, empathy, and emotional intelligence to her work. She has a gift for understanding sensory needs, supporting emotional regulation, recognizing the impact of trauma, and finding creative ways to help people succeed. Chelsea also takes the time to truly know each person’s Plan of Care and speaks up when she sees an opportunity to provide even better support. Perhaps most importantly, she has helped people who once struggled to feel comfortable in classes and in their community build meaningful relationships, participate successfully, and genuinely enjoy life! Thank you, Chelsea, for seeing the person first and for making such a meaningful difference!

How dedicated are these two DSPs? They have just returned from a trip to the Black Hills with two gentlemen they were honored to travel with! Jadyn has worked at Ark most recently since 2023. Jadyn is smart, funny, and takes care of people with complex medical needs. But she wouldn't let medical needs of people stop her from planning an active, fun, and safe trip to South Dakota. Jadyn is a DSP who is certified and a serious force in the DSP and advocacy world.

And Antonio? To know him is to love him! Funny, caring, smart, and skilled! We can always count on Antonio to provide the highest quality of care and make everyone have fun while doing it! Antonio is a Certified Direct Support Professional and is a Lead Staff in a home where people with complex needs live life to the fullest!
