The Sustainability Club is for those interested in the long term relationship of humans with our cul

Ex-officio: Maintaining an ex-officio position at ASUW to promote sustainable efforts within all decisions made at UW

Compost: Campaigning for a partnership between the City of Laramie and UW for industrial composting to divert harmful waste from th

e landfill

Zero Waste and Food Sharing: Supporting efforts across campus to implement zero waste practices and address UW’s food insecurity

Earth Week: Celebrating our home with educational events promoting environmental, social, and economic sustainability

Inter- club collaboration: Working with ENR, ROaR, ERC, ACRES, ASME, Nordic Ski Team

Howdy! If you need something to look forward to for AFTER Spring Break, don’t fret, we’re having club! We’ll have out first “book club” where we discuss “Worms Eat My Garbage” by Mary Appelhof and learn about at home vermicomposting. If you’re feeling overwhelmed by the idea — MORE reading — we dont want you to! We will provide materials, group read, and just talk about the book. We want to focus on the enjoyment of reading and gaining new knowledge with a community. This is a great opportunity to learn about easy home composting. We hope to see you then! 🪱
