What makes the world of Gilmore Girls and Stars Hollow so special?

Maybe it's the charming downtown streets, cozy coffee and treat shops, quirky characters, local businesses, and community traditions. Or maybe it's simply that wonderful feeling of belonging to a small town where people come together.

The good news? You don't have to travel to a fictional Connecticut town to experience a little of that magic. We have it right here in Historic Downtown Lapeer!

This Friday and Saturday, October 16 & 17, Lapeer Hollow Harvest brings a weekend of Gilmore Girls inspired fun to our downtown!

Friday, October 16, 5 - 9 PM
Saturday, October 17, 10 AM - 8 PM

Enjoy fall festivities, unique shopping, delicious dining, special activities, photo opportunities, and even appearances by Gilmore Girls actors Todd Lowe and John Cabrera!

Start your adventure at Axecadia, where $3 event maps will be available to help you discover participating businesses and special experiences throughout downtown. Some activities require separate tickets.

The magic of Stars Hollow was always about more than a place. It was about the people, the friendships, the small businesses, and the community.

And that's something we know a little about here in Historic Downtown Lapeer!

Come experience the small town magic for yourself!

Last week, we had the opportunity to sit down with Laura from Lola's Design Salon and celebrate a pretty incredible milestone, 20 years as a business owner in Historic Downtown Lapeer!

Twenty years of owning and operating a small business is no small accomplishment. It represents years of hard work, dedication, relationships, and being there for your customers and your community.

For two decades, Laura and Lola’s have been part of the story of Historic Downtown Lapeer, and that is certainly worth celebrating.

Please join us in congratulating Laura on 20 years as the owner of Lola’s Design Salon! Here’s to this milestone and many more years ahead!
