Menarche marks a woman's first menstrual cycle; it's the threshold where the body begins its rhythm of creation, renewal, and transformation. Across cultures, this moment has been honored as a rite of passage. Not simply biology, but initiation.
This retreat is retrospective. Whether you are still mooning or that cycle has long since closed - if you carry a womb or have done, this ceremony is for you.
DAUGHTERS OF THE FIRST MOON is about going back, gently, to the girl who began bleeding and kept moving forward because life kept moving.
This is your invitation to stop. To reconnect with your playfulness, your softness, your femininity.
Our ceremony is not about menstruation itself. It is about revisiting the threshold of becoming, and choosing how we honor that gift now.
It is a reclamation. A chance to rewrite that introduction, not by reliving it, but by offering yourself what may have been missing: ritual, reflection, a circle of women, and the remembrance that you have always been Divine and truly, truly loved.
These three days will have you immersed in nature. Celebrating with the elements, the power of our bodies, and sisterhood.

We will gather at the Shakti Temple at Thousand Suns and live closely together for three days. Camp under the trees. Share meals and conversation. Let the water cleanse us. Dance by the fire.
Allow your nervous system to slow enough to feel what lives underneath the pace of daily life.
PRELIMINARY SCHEDULE:
FRIDAY - Landing
Arrive. Settle. And Exhale.
We’ll share dinner together, gather for cacao by firelight, and let the land hold us. The sauna will be open. Conversation will be slow. The only intention is to arrive fully.

SATURDAY, Dropping into Self
We’ll reflect on the stories we inherited about being women, especially those formed around our earliest cycles. Through art therapy, mindful movement, and a full breathwork journey, we begin to feel what lives in the body.
In the afternoon, a Yoni steaming circle flows into a ceremonial walk to the pond for a cleansing plant bath ritual.
At night: cacao, sacrament, music, ecstatic dance, fire spinning, and space to move freely. Celebration. Embodiment. Expression.

SUNDAY, Integration
We create in the morning — eco-printing silk scarves with plants from the land. A second breathwork journey calls all parts of you home.
Later, the circle opens: there will be a stage to share a poem, song, performance, a truth or simply be witnessed as you are.
We close around the fire. Drums. Movement. Fire Spinning. Wildness if it comes. Be you, and have an joyous time.

What is included — all meals from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast, two deep dive breathwork ceremonies, cacao ceremony with sacred sacrament, art therapy, movement/yoga and embodiment sessions, yoni steaming circle, plant bath ritual, eco printing workshop, ecstatic dance, sauna, and a self-care bundle to take with you, the company of beautiful women, and much more. Tents are provided for those traveling in from out of state should you need.
Three contribution tiers:
$288 — Scholarship (3 available, Includes a small work exchange to support the space).
$444 — Garden
$600 — Sanctuary (includes a private breathwork session with Rabi'a)
Everyone shares the same land and ceremony. The tiers allow us to support one another - and to continue nurturing this land and this work.
