Gratitude overflowing!
To every family who shared, pledged, cheered, and encouraged our students: this would not have been the same without you. Because of this community, we raised funds for busses for one field trip per grade level, teacher mini grants and so much more!
Our students practiced being Steady. They became Uplifters. They found their Purpose. They went the Extra Mile. They stayed Reliable. And they proved they’ve had a Hero inside them this whole time.

The final superpower, the one that brings it all together: HERO.

Today’s lesson hit different. Our students learned that being a SUPER Hero isn’t about flying or having super speed. It’s about the choices you make every single day. Kindness, taking action, standing up for what’s right.

And then came the moment that lit up the room: “You’re already SUPER Heroes!” Steady, Uplifter, Purpose, Extra Mile, Reliable. These powers were living inside our students from the beginning. This heroic quest just helped them realize the power they already had.

Their chant today says it all: “SUPER Heroes lead with heart, SUPER Heroes from the start.”

Tomorrow is the Fun Run! Our heroes are ready. Here’s the game plan for tonight: good sleep, water bottle packed, healthy breakfast in the morning, and comfy shoes. Two big rules for tomorrow: do your best, and have fun. ❤️

SUPER Power: Reliable. 🔒

Our students learned that being Reliable means living by a simple rule: “I do what I say I’ll do, I show up when others need me, and I follow through even when it’s not easy.” Reliable heroes tell the truth, do their best, and stay true to what’s right, not just what’s popular. They prove their character through their actions, day after day.

One of our favorite lines from this week’s lesson: “Pressure makes diamonds.” Taking on hard challenges head-on and solving problems makes you come out stronger and brighter on the other side.

Their leadership challenge today is a special one: write a note to their principal or give them a high five in the hallway and thank them for being a reliable leader at our school. 💛

New superpower unlocked: Extra Mile. 💪

Last week our students learned that SUPER Heroes don’t do the bare minimum. Going the Extra Mile means helping someone clean up even when you didn’t make the mess. Giving your best effort even when you’re tired. Noticing a classmate sitting alone and inviting them to join you. Heroes don’t say “that’s not my problem.” They say “how can I help?”

The big takeaway: the extra mile is where most people stop, but it’s where leaders show up.

Their leadership challenge: find one moment today to go the extra mile, at school or at home. Help someone, work harder, or do something kind that you didn’t have to do. 💛

SUPER power of the day: Purpose. 🎯

Last week our students learned that Purpose means knowing your “why” and letting it guide your choices. Not just going through the motions, but moving with real direction toward the things that matter to you. They talked about how staying focused is tough when distractions are everywhere.

The lesson used Stephen Curry as an example: the NBA’s all-time leading three-point scorer didn’t get there overnight. He practiced thousands of shots, day after day, even when he was tired. Those small steps, repeated with real effort, built something incredible. The same is true for our students.

Their leadership challenge: do one thing today that shows the kind of person you want to become. At the end of the day, check in and ask: “Did my actions match the purpose I want to live out?” 💛

Superpower activated: Uplifter 🌟

Today our students learned that real heroes don’t try to be the only one shining. They raise the energy of the whole room. Being an Uplifter means being genuinely excited for someone else’s win, even when it’s not your turn. It means making the people around you feel valued, not just seen.

They also gave their teachers a big shoutout today, because not all SUPER Heroes wear capes. 💛

Their leadership challenge: find three different people today and say or do something that lifts them up. A kind word, a high five, a thank you. If your student comes home and lifts YOU up tonight, that’s the Uplifter in action.

First superpower unlocked: Steady. 🛡️

Today our students learned their SUPER Hero breath: breathe in like you’re smelling a flower, breathe out like you’re blowing out a candle. It sounds simple, but it’s how heroes stay calm and strong on the inside even when things feel out of control on the outside. The big question they’re carrying with them today: “Am I using my power, or is my power using me?”

Their leadership challenge is to use their SUPER Hero breath three times today and then teach it to someone at home tonight. So if your student grabs you after school and asks you to smell a flower and blow out a candle, you’ll know why. 💛

Tonight’s Fundraising Challenge: The class with the most students that create a video for their Apex page will earn a silly video starring Apex!
