Celebrating Tahitian Culture & Dance Since 1990

Now entering an exciting new chapter, the Tahiti Fête, long celebrated as the largest Tahitian dance competition in the United State, will take place for the first time in Honolulu, Hawaiʻi, at the state’s premier venue: the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena.

Each year, dancers from across the globe gather to showcase the breathtaking artistry of Tahitian dance. From elaborate, handcrafted costumes to both traditional and contemporary choreography, every performance tells the rich stories and history of the Tahitian people.

Beyond the stage, the celebration continues throughout the arena. Guests can enjoy delicious Polynesian food, shop from skilled artisans offering one-of-a-kind crafts, and take part in cultural dance workshops led by the esteemed judges of the competition.

This July 3rd, 4th and 5th, experience the energy, tradition, and spirit of Tahiti right in the heart of Hawaiʻi at the Tahiti Fête of Honolulu.

UNE 2026 IS ALZHEIMER’S AWARENESS MONTH

Alzheimer’s Awareness Month is a reminder for all to take charge of their brain health.

More than 55 million people live with Alzheimer's or another dementia, and two-thirds of Americans have at least one major potential risk factor for dementia.

Adopting healthy habits like getting exercise and good quality sleep can reduce the risk of cognitive decline. Learn more at Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month.

We are co-sponsoring with the UCI Teacher Academy a FREE teacher workshop on "Exploring Sovereignty, Self-Determination, and Climate Justice Through Multimedia Resources and Community-Centered Pedagogy" to be held this upcoming June 15th & 16th.

This workshop provides participants a $150 stipend that can alternatively be used to earn units from the UC Irvine Division of Continuing Education.

It will feature select chapters on Micronesians and other Pacific Island peoples from Foundations and Futures: Asian American and Pacific Islander Multimedia Textbook, just launched last month.

The featured scholar is Prof. Tiara Naputi of UCI's Global and International Studies Department. This will be a transformative opportunity for teachers interested in the history and contemporary issues among Pacific Islander peoples across Oceania.
