Life has taken us in different directions since our days at LHS, but once a Ranger, always a Ranger!

✨We're especially hoping to hear from graduates from the 2000s, 2010s, and 2020s.✨

The years may have flown by, but those Lakewood connections are worth keeping!

The Lakewood Rangers Education Foundation is working to grow our alumni contact database, and we'd love your help.

By sharing your current contact information, you'll make it easier for former classmates to organize future reunions.

💻 Take a minute to fill out our Keep in Touch form:
https://lakewoodrangers.com/alumni

🔒 How do we use your information? Your contact information is stored in a secure database maintained by LREF. When classmates are organizing a reunion, we can use this information to help them reconnect with fellow graduates and share reunion details. We also use it to send just a few emails a year with Foundation news and alumni updates. That's it! We won't flood your inbox with emails or share your private contact information for non-reunion purposes.

And don't keep this to yourself! Tag your old classmates, share this post, and help us reconnect generations of Rangers.

Because no matter how many years have passed, Lakewood will always be part of your story.

Tomorrow, we’ll celebrate the dedication of the Lakewood High School tennis courts in honor of two legendary Lakewood tennis champions, Dr. Paul Graebner and his son, Clark Graebner.

This special tribute was made possible through the incredible generosity and leadership of the Lakewood High School Class of 1961, spearheaded by Scott Lawson.

Paul was a three-time Ohio High School State Champion, and Clark followed in his footsteps, winning three consecutive state titles before going on to a distinguished tennis career at Northwestern University and as an amateur and professional player.

A special thank you to Dr. Greanoff for researching and writing the article that helped tell their remarkable story.

A Legacy Worth Celebrating!

Thanks to the incredible generosity and leadership of the Lakewood High School Class of 1961, spearheaded by Scott Lawson, the Lakewood High School tennis courts will soon be renamed in honor of two remarkable Lakewood tennis legends: Dr. Paul Graebner and his son, Clark Graebner.

Paul was a three-time Ohio High School State Tennis Champion, winning individual titles in 1933, 1934 and 1935. More than two decades later, his son Clark followed in his footsteps, winning three consecutive Ohio High School State individual championships in 1958, 1959 and 1960. Clark went on to a distinguished tennis career at Northwestern University and as an amateur and professional player.

This special dedication honors not only two extraordinary athletes, but a family whose accomplishments helped shape the legacy of Lakewood tennis.

A special thank you to Dr. Greanoff for researching and writing the wonderful article that helped share the story of Paul and Clark and their lasting connection to Lakewood tennis.

We are incredibly grateful to the Class of 1961, Scott Lawson, David Deming ('62), Dr. Greanoff, and everyone who helped make this meaningful tribute possible.
