Path to College

Path to College Path to College is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students realize their potential and pursue meaningful futures.

The Path to College Fellowship

A mentoring and youth development program for motivated students on their Path to College. Core Values:

We believe access to higher education leads to a fuller and richer life, ultimately leading to broader societal advancement. We are a community of compassionate mentors who are devoted to continuing education for underprivileged adolescents. We understand that st

udents from financially insecure households are less likely to pursue the heights of their academic potential, and are often unguided along the sometimes complicated path to college. We are committed to providing this much needed guidance and extracurricular investment and are committed to preparing the next generation of scholars, leaders, and entrepreneurs. Goals

Introduce students to opportunities for personal and educational growth. Raise student test scores, increase scholarships, and college acceptance rates. Create cycles of civic service in the form of tutoring to help the next generation of students better their academic potential.

Our student EDTalk finalists are not holding back this year on the conversations they’re bringing to the stage!

Alisha, one of our PTC junior’s and rising senior of Lake Worth Community High School, has watched this generation be shaped by social media, political division, and nonstop online debate. Through her observations, she began asking a deeper question: what truly causes all of this conflict?

She noticed that people often aren’t defending facts — they’re defending themselves. That realization led her to explore the hidden forces behind division, identity, and the struggle to change minds in today’s society.

On June 4, Alisha will take the EDTalk stage as our first student finalist presenter at EDfest 2026.

There is just 7 days left‼️ Join us at the West Palm Beach Marriott and experience the perspectives, stories, and ideas shaping the next generation of leaders🙌

There are less than two weeks left until the big day: EDfest 2026.

In less than two weeks, we will open the doors to a room where student voices are empowered and surrounded by individuals who believe in the power of education, leadership, and the next generation.

For months, our students have been preparing their presentations, refining their ideas, and building the confidence to step onto the EDfest stage. Soon, our student EDtalk finalists will officially be revealed, and you won’t believe the topics they will be discussing this year.

Alongside these powerful students, our keynote speaker, Dr.William Stixrud, will be discussing what it truly means to allow students to flourish the right way and how we can better support the next generation in reaching their fullest potential.

Years from now, our students will remember who was in the room supporting them.

Be in the room.

We are reaching capacity. Share this video with someone you know who supports educational equity and get your ticket today using the link in our bio!

Imagine walking into a room and seeing the next generation of leaders suited up, dressed professionally, standing tall with confidence, and ready to voice what they’ve been holding inside.

You look around the room and see our potential top finalists rehearsing their talks—eager to step on stage, challenge perspectives, and share ideas that invite the community to think through a different lens.

That is exactly what our very first EdFest Semi-Finalists Meet & Greet was all about.

This special opportunity allowed invited community leaders and our Silver Path sponsors and above to connect one-on-one with our students, hear their stories, and gain a deeper look into the topics they may be presenting at EdFest.

These students are not simply presenting projects. They are opening minds, offering new perspectives, and encouraging conversations that leave lasting impact long after they step off the stage.

On June 4th at the West Palm Beach Marriott, our student EdTalk finalists will take the stage to share thought-provoking ideas with leaders and professionals across Palm Beach County.

Their voices are insightful, powerful, and deeply reflective of the experiences and observations of today’s youth.

You do not want to miss what these students have to say.

On Wednesday, we hosted our very first Meet & Greet for our EDfest student EDtalk semi-finalists!

Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors at the Silver Path level and above, our students were given exclusive access to an opportunity designed to help propel their ideas even further.

This experience gave our semi-finalists the chance to refine and polish their EdFest pitches, strengthen their confidence, and continue developing the competitive, knowledgeable, and impactful presentations that could earn them a spot as an official EdFest finalist.

This is what EdFest is all about: empowering students, investing in their voices, and creating spaces where their ideas can truly be heard.

A special thank you to at GrazeCraze for providing delicious charcuterie boards for this special day!

Seats are filling up. You are not going to want to miss the eye-opening topics that students will be sharing. Get your EDfest tickets now using the link in our bio! 🔗

Most students today describe school with three words:

Tired. Stressed. Bored.

That’s the opposite of how the brain learns best.

At EDFest, Dr. William Stixrud will unpack what decades of neuroscience reveal:

🧠 The optimal state for learning is relaxed alertness
⚡ The best environments are high challenge, low threat

So why are we getting it so wrong?

Join us at EDfest on June 4 for a conversation that challenges the system—and reimagines what’s possible.

As our seniors prepare to step into this next chapter, there is so much excitement—but also uncertainty. For many, college represents the unknown. A new environment, new expectations, and a new level of independence that can feel both inspiring and overwhelming.

That is why moments like Senior Send Off on May 8 matter.

We are honored to welcome Keith Clinkscale, Department Director of Employee Ombudsman & Strategic Planning for Palm Beach County, as our guest speaker for this year’s celebration. His presence comes at a pivotal time, offering our students not only encouragement, but perspective as they navigate what comes next.

Keith, thank you for taking the time to pour into our students—to meet them in this moment and help shape the mindset they will carry with them into college and beyond. Your words will help transform uncertainty into confidence, and possibility into direction.
