Path to College is a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping students realize their potential and pursue meaningful futures.

The Path to College Fellowship

A mentoring and youth development program for motivated students on their Path to College. Core Values:

We believe access to higher education leads to a fuller and richer life, ultimately leading to broader societal advancement. We are a community of compassionate mentors who are devoted to continuing education for underprivileged adolescents. We understand that students from financially insecure households are less likely to pursue the heights of their academic potential, and are often unguided along the sometimes complicated path to college. We are committed to providing this much needed guidance and extracurricular investment and are committed to preparing the next generation of scholars, leaders, and entrepreneurs. Goals

Introduce students to opportunities for personal and educational growth. Raise student test scores, increase scholarships, and college acceptance rates. Create cycles of civic service in the form of tutoring to help the next generation of students better their academic potential.

Last week, we hosted our Mentor Mingle, an important step before official mentor matching, at our weekly fellowship. Our students had the opportunity to meet some of our amazing volunteer mentors. They got to know each other through first through team-led icebreakers, and then through in-depth conversations.

We are so grateful to our caring, dedicated mentors who stand in our students' corner and encourage them through the college process.. The mentor relationship (and the consistency, belief, and support that comes with it) help our students imagine and achieve brighter futures.

We are thrilled to announce that five of our incredible students are 2026 QuestBridge finalists! Our team is so proud of all of our students who applied to the highly selective program this year.

With a current acceptance rate of only 29.1%, the QuestBridge college access program is one of the most competitive nationwide. We are so proud of our students who were selected as finalists this year.

Welcome to the 2026 Path to College Fellows! 🎓🎉

On Monday, we held our New Student Orientation and met our newest class of PTC fellows! Guided by our staff and current fellows, the 2026 PTC class spent the day learning about what life as PTC fellow looks like, engaging with their new cohort, and taking the first steps towards working on upcoming projects like Community Impact Night.

Only one day into their PTC journey, our new fellows were building relationships with their cohort and current fellows, asking important questions, and learning from our staff and senior fellows.

When Daniel started high school, he never imagined himself at an Ivy League school. He had the talent and the work ethic needed to get there, but he lacked access to resources, support, and opportunity. Through mentor support, SAT preparation, and college advising, Path to College provided him with environment needed to achieve his goals.

Daniel is now at Brown University on a full-ride scholarship.

Palm Beach County is full of students just like Daniel: they have enormous potential and drive, but don’t have access to the tools needed to achieve their dreams.

When Daniel entered high school, he knew he had the ability and work ethic required to achieve his dreams of college and an incredible career. But attending an Ivy League university wasn't something his freshman-year self could see in his future. That is, until he found Path to College.

At Path to College, Daniel was given access a supportive environment, expert SAT prep and college advising, and people who believed in him and his potential. Now, Daniel is at Brown University on a full-ride scholarship through QuestBridge, pursuing his dream of becoming a chemical engineer.

There are talented, driven students across Palm Beach County with the potential to unlock incredible futures, but without access to the tools and support needed.

Last week, we were honored to host five incredible professionals at the top of their fields for our STEM Career Panel.

During the panel, our students had the opportunity to learn about many different types of STEM careers, the steps they can take now as students to start their journey in STEM, and the unexpected traits (like creativity, leadership, teamwork, and adaptability) that are important to success in the field. Most importantly, our students learned to always walk through open doors and to find the mentors who will support their ability to thrive in their chosen career.
