Since 2003, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach has been sending monthly “We Care” packages filled with love, care items, and letters of encouragement to U.S. What began in South Florida has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit supported by individuals, schools, businesses, and community groups across the country. Our mission is simple: to remind our service members that they are not forgotten. Ea

💙 Messages like this remind us why we do what we do.

Recently, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach received a heartfelt note from Army PFC Aimee Boyd, a 19-year-old Behavioral Health Specialist currently deployed overseas.

Aimee shared that being away from her family and adjusting to Army life while deployed has been challenging. Then, she and more than 40 members of her unit received care packages from Forgotten Soldiers Outreach.

"Receiving your care package has brought me tears of joy, knowing there are people that are thinking of me and my fellow comrades."

As part of a Behavioral Health team, Aimee helps care for Soldiers facing the stresses of deployment every day. Thanks to your support, we were able to remind her and her fellow service members that they are not alone.

To every volunteer who packs a box, every donor who gives, and every supporter who believes in our mission, thank you. Your generosity delivers more than snacks and supplies. It delivers encouragement, comfort, and a connection to home.

We couldn't be prouder of these amazing students from Immaculate Conception School in Hialeah! 🇺🇸❤️

Their generous donation drive, heartfelt letters, and beautiful artwork will help bring encouragement and support to our deployed troops. From collecting donations to helping load every box, these students showed what it means to serve their community.

🇺🇸 Join us for Hometown Hero Appreciation Day! 🇺🇸

Forgotten Soldiers Outreach is honored to be one of the local charities benefiting from the upcoming Hometown Hero Appreciation Day at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium on Saturday, June 20, from 10 AM – 3 PM.

This special event celebrates our Veterans, Active Duty Military, First Responders, and Gold Star Families with:

⭐ Welcome Ceremony
⭐ Military vehicle displays and photo opportunities
⭐ Meet-and-greets with local service members and first responders
⭐ Live science demonstrations
⭐ Hands-on activities and family-friendly entertainment
⭐ Complimentary lunch for heroes

Heroes receive FREE admission for themselves and up to four guests with valid ID and advance registration.

Nothing brightens a deployment quite like receiving a care package from home!

We recently received this photo from Aaron, aboard the USS Thomas Hudner (DDG-116), proudly showing off some of the snacks and goodies his crew received from Forgotten Soldiers Outreach.

From favorite treats to everyday essentials, every item packed by our volunteers is a reminder that Americans back home are thinking of and supporting our deployed service members.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported Forgotten Soldiers Outreach’s 21st Annual “A Day to Remember” Memorial Day Service at Palm Beach Memorial Park. 🇺🇸

This year’s ceremony was one of our largest and most meaningful yet, bringing our community together to honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedoms.

From inspiring speakers, military honors, flyovers, wreath presentations, and moving musical performances to the participation of veterans organizations, JROTC units, Scouts, Honor Guards, and community partners, the day was a powerful reminder that Memorial Day is a sacred day of remembrance.

A heartfelt thank you to our volunteers, sponsors, participants, and attendees who helped make this event so special. We are honored to continue this meaningful tradition for 21 years and look forward to next year’s service.
