Since 2003, Forgotten Soldiers Outreach has been sending monthly “We Care” packages filled with love, care items, and letters of encouragement to U.S. What began in South Florida has grown into a nationally recognized nonprofit supported by individuals, schools, businesses, and community groups across the country. Our mission is simple: to remind our service members that they are not forgotten. Ea

“Whenever the Sailors open these boxes, it’s like Christmas every time.” 🇺🇸📦

Those words from a sailor aboard the USS George H.W. Bush are exactly why Forgotten Soldiers Outreach does what we do.

From hygiene essentials like body wash, deodorant and lotion to snacks, treats and beef jerky, the items packed into each We Care Package serve a purpose and bring a little taste of home to service members serving far away.

Want to help fill the next care packages? We’re always grateful for donations of items our deployed service members can use and enjoy, including:
• Travel-size hygiene products
• Deodorant & body wash
• Lotion
• Toothpaste & toothbrushes
• Individual snack items
• Beef jerky and other nonperishable treats

Every donated item helps us fill a box with a little more comfort, connection and a reminder that they haven't been forgotten.

Meet Our Special Guest 👏🇺🇸

We are honored to welcome Pastor Chris Edmonds as the special guest speaker for the 12th Annual Hero’s Toast Ch*****ne Luncheon.

Pastor Chris will share the extraordinary true story of his father, Master Sgt. Roddie Edmonds, a World War II prisoner of war who courageously refused a N**i command to identify Jewish American soldiers.

His father's actions demonstrated extraordinary courage and moral conviction, and his legacy continues to inspire generations.

His message:
“The Enduring Impact of Doing What Is Right.”

We can't wait to hear his story.

Veterans giving back 🇺🇸

We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to the members of the Marine Corps League Intracoastal Detachment #1058 for their selfless act of kindness in sponsoring care packages for our brave deployed troops!

This is more than a luncheon. It is one of the most important days of the year for FSO and our largest fundraiser, helping us continue our mission of supporting deployed American service members with “We Care” packages filled with comfort, encouragement, and a touch of home.

Recently, we had the pleasure of welcoming the mother of a sailor currently deployed aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln to our warehouse! She stopped by to meet Executive Director Lynelle Zelnar, learn more about FSO, and see firsthand the organization sending care packages to her son and his shipmates.

And we loved having her daughter along for the visit, too! 💙

Knowing that the packages we pack and ship are reaching someone’s loved one makes what we do even more meaningful. From our warehouse to the deck of the USS Abraham Lincoln, we’re honored to be a small part of supporting our deployed service members and their families back home.
