Building Homes. Inspiring Futures. Strengthening Communities. 💙

Since 2014, BallenIsles Charities Foundation has been a valued philanthropic partner of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, helping create lasting opportunities for local families and future generations.

We were delighted to welcome Alan Silverman of BallenIsles Charities Foundation for a site visit as part of our current grant application process and an opportunity to celebrate more than a decade of meaningful collaboration.

Among the many highlights of this partnership is the Foundation’s longstanding support of The Weitz Construction Academy at Seminole Ridge High School, an extraordinary program that connects education, workforce development, and affordable homeownership. Through hands-on experience building Habitat homes, students gain valuable skills, explore career pathways in construction, and make a tangible difference in the lives of local families.

This unique collaboration is about more than building homes. It is about building confidence, creating opportunities, and inspiring the next generation of skilled professionals and community leaders.

Our heartfelt thanks to Alan and the entire BallenIsles Charities Foundation community for their continued generosity, partnership, and belief in the power of investing in people and possibilities. 🏡✨

The Women Build takeover starts now 🩷✨

Last week, we proudly presented our Women Build campaign at the Palm Beach Chamber of Commerce Breakfast after its launch on October 19. Our staff, proudly sporting this year's official colors, pink and blue, was honored to be showcased. Our CEO, Jennifer Thomason, discussed our impact in both numbers and stories—in the past 40 years, we built 452 affordable homes, and served over 1,280 local households. That's more families being uplifted, and more futures being brightened. 🏡

This year's Women Build will take place March 12, 2027, and we would love for you to join us! Visit this link to join the movement: https://donate.habitatsouthpalmbeach.org/campaigns/47072-women-build-2027?utm_source=ig&utm_medium=social&utm_content=link_in_bio
