📚 It’s Dictionary Time! 🎉

It’s that time of year again! Lake Oswego Rotary is proud to provide a dictionary to every third-grade student in the Lake Oswego School District! 📖✨

Led by Rotary committee leader Linda Brown, our dedicated volunteers visit each school to deliver these special gifts to young learners. We hope these dictionaries inspire curiosity, strengthen vocabulary, and encourage a lifelong love of reading! ❤️

At Lake Oswego Rotary, we believe small gifts can make a lasting impact in the lives of our community’s children. 💙💛

🎃 The only thing scarier than Halloween? A world where polio still exists! 👻

This October 24, we're marking World Polio Day and reminding everyone that polio eradication is no trick… but it would certainly be one incredible treat! 🍬

Thanks to Rotary and our global partners, we've helped reduce polio cases by more than 99.9% since 1988. But until every child is protected, our work isn't finished.

💉 Vaccines save lives. 🌍 Every child deserves a polio-free future. ❤️ Together, we can finish what we started.

So this Halloween season, let's scare polio out of existence once and for all!

🎃 Let's make polio a ghost of the past!

🌎💙 Lake Oswego Rotary: Making a Lasting Impact—Locally and Globally! 💛

Rotary friendships create meaningful change around the world! Lake Oswego Rotary Past President Alan Bazzaz recently presented a friendship memento to Su Yaman, President of the Rotary Club of Alanya, Turkey—a celebration of the partnership between two clubs united by service.

Together, our clubs have supported two important humanitarian projects:
👶 Neonatal respirators for Alanya Hospital, helping provide critical care for newborns.
🚻 Portable bathrooms for victims of the devastating earthquake in Syria, supporting communities in crisis.

From strengthening our local community to meeting urgent needs across the globe, Lake Oswego Rotary demonstrates that service has no borders—and friendship can make a lasting difference. 🌍🤝

✨ Together, we Unite for Good and Create Lasting Impact!
