Another successful Rest & Resilience Retreat is in the books!
Our June participants spent the weekend stepping away from the demands of the profession to rest, reflect, reconnect, and focus on their wellness. Throughout the weekend they enjoyed a variety of activities including:
• Yoga The Lodge Cumberland
• Pottery painting Emporium Boutique & Art Studio
• Facials Esthetics By Diana
• A downtown Cumberland community event supporting first responders
• Peer connection and conversation over a meal Nezzy's Sports Bar & Grill
• Group Reflection Bear Lake Coffee Company
• Plenty of fishing, boating, fires and peaceful time on the lake
Participants also enjoyed the incredible hospitality and peaceful setting of High Valley Ranch, whose beautiful retreat property continues to provide the perfect environment for first responders and their families to slow down, recharge, and reconnect.
A special thank you to Nancy Cifaldi- Gagner and Alice Ali Cifaldi Fletch for providing Saturday night’s amazing homemade meal featuring lasagna, salad, bread, and of course dessert. Your generosity helped make the weekend even more meaningful for our participants.
We are incredibly grateful for the businesses, volunteers, donors, and community members who help make these retreats possible. Together, we’re creating opportunities for first responders to prioritize wellness, strengthen relationships, and build lasting connections with others who understand the unique challenges of the profession.
