The Summer 2026 Village Leader introductions continue! 💚🧡

Today, we're excited to introduce the leaders of Chalutzim and Habo!

🌟 Meet Ste, Chalutzim Village Leader!

Ste is joining us from the Isle of Man and is returning for his 4th summer at Camp Chi. He's most excited for Shabbat services and song session this summer!

🤿 Fun fact: He's a qualified open water scuba diver.
🍧 Canteen order: Shark Attack Slushie & a Vanilla Charleston Chew

🏕️ Meet Marc, Habo Village Leader!

Originally from England and now living in Melbourne, Australia, Marc is returning for his 5th summer at Camp Chi. This summer, he's excited to join the Village Leader team after four summers as a Specialist and Area Leader.

🏃 Fun fact: He ran a 5K every day for an entire month!
💚 Marc says that Camp Chi has become a true home and community for him, and he hopes every camper gets the chance to experience the same magic.

🏕️ Meet Bailey, Habo Village Leader!

Bailey is from the Chicago area and is returning for his 5th summer at Camp Chi. He's most excited to meet his campers and help create an unforgettable summer for them.

✨ Fun fact: His very first summer as a camper was in Habo!

Today, we're excited to begin introducing our Summer 2026 Village Leaders! 💚🧡

These incredible leaders are already hard at work preparing for camp and can't wait to welcome all of you this summer.

🌱 Meet Talia, Shoreshim Village Leader!

Talia is from Evanston, IL and is celebrating her 9th summer at Camp Chi. She's most excited to meet all of our new campers and jump into activities with everyone this summer!

🎶 Favorite song session songs: Cats in the Cradle & Drift Away
📍 Favorite spot at camp: The Amphitheater
🍧 Canteen order: Cove Water Slush Puppy & Red Sour Punch Straws
⛸️ Fun fact: She's obsessed with watching figure skating (even though she can't do it herself!)

🏕️ Meet Iris, Tsofim Village Leader!

Iris is from Chicago, IL and is returning for her 8th summer at Camp Chi. She's excited to meet her new campers and create unforgettable memories together this summer.

🎵 Fun fact: She can play three instruments!
🍧 Canteen order: Cove Water Slush Puppy, unfrozen Chocolate Charleston Chew, and any kind of M&M's

🏕️ Meet Eli, Tsofim Village Leader!

Joining us from sunny Scotland, Eli is returning for her 4th summer at Camp Chi. She's most excited to meet all of the amazing Tsofim campers and get her groove on at song session! 💃🏻

🌈 Fun fact: Eli once shaved her head and raised over £1,000 for charity, and she's dyed her hair seven different colors!

❤️ She loves them so much she can't listen to either one outside of camp without getting emotional.

Meet Allie!

This summer marks Allie's 8th summer at Camp Chi and 3rd summer on staff. Allie is returning as a counselor and can't wait for another incredible summer.

One of the biggest lessons Allie's taken from camp is to take it all in. Time flies, especially at camp, so enjoy every moment as it happens. ✨

When it comes to song session, you can find Allie singing along to Father and Son or In My Life. 🎶

Every summer, Camp Chi becomes even more special and Allie's excited to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and create more unforgettable memories.

Meet Josh!

Josh is from Chicago, Illinois, and is celebrating his 10th summer at Camp Chi! This summer, he'll be joining our team as a counselor.

His favorite spot at camp has been the Cove ever since his very first summer, and his favorite activity is song session, a highlight of every week at Chi. 🎶🌊

After 10 summers at camp, Josh is excited to return for another unforgettable season filled with friends, fun, and plenty of Chi spirit.

Staff Spotlights! Meet Lucy and Zoe! 💚🧡

Lucy is from Chicago and is returning for her 9th summer at Camp Chi and her 2nd summer as a counselor. She'll be with us all summer long and can't wait to be back at camp!

Lucy loves art activities, euchre, the pool, and any excuse to wear a costume. 🎨♠️🎭☀️

Her go-to canteen order? Mallow Cup, sunflower seeds, and a Diet Coke. Her favorite camp meal is Grilled Cheese Sunday, no debate. 🧀

And when it comes to song session, you'll find her singing along to The General, with American Pie and Return to Pooh Corner close behind. 🎶

Zoe is from Deerfield, Illinois, and is returning for her 9th summer at Camp Chi after starting as a camper in 2017. This summer, she'll be joining us as a Senior Counselor!

Her go-to canteen order is a Cove Water Slush Puppy with extra Shocker and a Frozen Chocolate Charleston Chew. 🍧🍫

When it comes to song session, Zoe's favorite is all 8 minutes and 42 seconds of American Pie. 🎶

Her favorite camp traditions are Shabbat Birkat and the Goodnight Song, and a fun fact about Zoe is that as a member of the SIT Class of 2024, she had the honor of lighting the Chi Flame at Chi Burning. 🔥

Meet Ella, one of our Mini Session II Counselors!

Ella is from Chicago and is celebrating her 7th summer at Camp Chi. This fall, she'll be heading to NYU to study philosophy, and when she's not at camp, she loves spending time outdoors.

What she's most excited for this summer is watching her campers experience the same incredible Camp Chi summers she enjoyed as a camper.

Ella says what makes Chi special is the people, our spirited, caring, and kind campers and staff. Her favorite song session song? Rivers and Roads. 🎶

🎉 Hello, June! You know what that means... 💚🧡

The countdown is no longer in months, it's in days. Campfires, song sessions, waterfront sunsets, canteen runs, Shabbat, and unforgettable memories are almost here.

We can't wait to welcome our Camp Chi family home for another incredible summer. ☀️
