We were so grateful to have guest speaker Dr. Annie Spell, Louisiana State Representative, as she shared her personal and professional journey from psychology and business leadership into public service.
She discussed how her experiences with Hurricane Katrina, child welfare, and mental health shaped her commitment to helping families and strengthening communities.
She also emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses, entrepreneurship, and economic development in Acadiana.
Throughout her remarks, she encouraged women’s leadership, lifelong learning, asking questions, and embracing change.
She concluded by reaffirming her commitment to serving her district and helping residents access the resources they need.

Members Supporting Members! 🩵

Nothing better than a little Bingo, a lot of laughs, and supporting one of our own! A few Connections members joined fellow member Robin at McMillan's Pub for Bingo night. Great to see our members supporting each other, and having a good time doing it!

Members supporting members! 💕

Connections members Carol Trosclair and Mary Hays are also proud board members of the Oil Center Association. It's wonderful to see fellow Connections members showing their support at the Oil Center Association Lunch & Learn!

We love seeing our members supporting one another and staying involved in our community.
