I have the honor of founding and meeting with our incredible teen board members from YAC (Youth Advisory Council) at A Brighter Day. 🤍

Here they are advocating at our community event for teen mental health, take a moment to listen to their speech. It’s truly worth it.

These aren’t just “student volunteers.” They are thoughtful, brave, emotionally intelligent young leaders who are actively shaping how we show up for teens in our community. They ask hard questions. They challenge us to do better. They speak up about what support actually feels like from a teen’s perspective.

Sitting with them reminded me why this work matters so deeply. When you give young people a seat at the table, they don’t just fill it — they transform it.

The future of mental health advocacy is in very capable hands. ✨
