Today, Malissa Hernandez, executive assistant and office manager in the University of La Verne’s Office of the Provost, shared her story through the “What Matters to Me and Why” series.

Her reflections explored the hope, relationships, and experiences that have shaped her life. Throughout her 19 years at ULV, she has found purpose in supporting students and building connections that continue beyond graduation.

Thank you, Malissa, for reminding our community of the importance of showing up for one another and making space for the stories we each carry.
