Every student deserves the tools to navigate life's challenges and thrive both in and out of the classroom. 💙

Through the Mental Health America Lakeshore - MHA Resilient Classrooms program, more than 5,000 students each year gain practical skills in emotional regulation, resilience, connection, and self-advocacy.

With support from a Kohler Foundation grant, this prevention-focused mental health education empowers youth in grades 4K-12 to build healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and grow into confident, resilient adults.

Kohler Foundation is excited to welcome two talented professionals to our team: Eva Stokes, Program Manager, and Ashley Carrasquillo, Administration & Marketing Manager. Together, they bring extensive experience in education, community engagement, program leadership, marketing, and communications that will help further our mission of enriching communities through arts and culture, education, and community well-being.

Eva will oversee our scholarship and grant programs as well as the Distinguished Guest Series, while Ashley will lead marketing and communications efforts and support Foundation operations.

🎭 Grantee Spotlight: Kiel Area Youth Theatre (KAYT)

At Kohler Foundation, we're proud to support organizations that help young people discover their talents, build confidence, and connect with their communities.

This year, a Kohler Foundation grant helped Kiel Area Youth Theatre (KAYT) expand its summer programming by producing two youth productions: High School Musical and Seussical the Musical. The results were remarkable:

✨ 77 young performers participated across both productions
✨ More than 2,000 audience members attended performances
✨ Students gained confidence, leadership skills, and lasting friendships through the arts

Thanks to community enthusiasm and support, KAYT is continuing to grow and is presenting its first-ever Alumni & Friends production, Working: A Musical, from July 31-August 2 at the Kiel High School Performing Arts Center.

Join us in celebrating KAYT's commitment to helping youth shine on and off the stage!
