Davey Nelson's Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament www.brewers.com/davey Due to many hours of work by our dedicated volunteers and the generosity of many, the event contnues to be a resounding success each year!

Open Arms Board member Dave Nelson kicked off the 1st Annual Davey Nelson Celebrity Golf Tournament in 2009 at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, WI. Sponsored by Milwaukee Brewers Charities, the one-day tournament gave golfers an opportunity to play on a beautiful course with a group of current and former sports celebrities.

We are overwhelmed with gratitude and pleased to share the funds raised at Davey’s Celebration of Life and Tournament totaled nearly $100,000. In addition, the Brewers and Brewers Community Foundation generously matched the funds raising the total to nearly $200,000!

We are extremely grateful to you and the Milwaukee Brewers organization for making Davey’s memory live on by supporting the cause he cared so much for, Open Arms. As the holidays approach, it is great to be reminded of Davey’s kind heart and true love for the children at Open Arms.
