Something pretty amazing is coming to Knoxville, and we're SO excited to share it with our community!

The Tennessee Pride Chamber is bringing its popular Brewing Up Business networking event to Knoxville for the FIRST TIME! 🎉

This is more than another networking event. It's an opportunity for our LGBTQ+ community, allies, entrepreneurs, and professionals to come together, make meaningful connections, support q***r-owned businesses, and open doors for one another.

Because when our community grows, we ALL win. 💖

And did we mention there's a Halloween twist? Costumes are encouraged, besties! 🎃

Q***r history isn’t just something that happened somewhere else, a long time ago. It’s here. It’s local. And it’s still being written. 🌈

It lives in the people who created a community when there wasn’t one.

In the people who loved openly when it wasn’t safe to.

In the chosen families, the organizers, the artists, the advocates, the neighbors, and the everyday people who made space for the next generation to live a little more freely.

October is LGBTQ+ History Month, and while we honor the well-known names and moments that helped move our community forward, we also want to celebrate the stories that may never make a history book.

Because q***r history belongs to all of us.

And right here in Knoxville, we’re still adding to it.

East Tennessee lost a legend today. 🦋

Dolly Parton was more than an icon. She was a storyteller, a philanthropist, a champion for her community, and a reminder that kindness and authenticity never go out of style.

For generations of LGBTQ+ folks, Dolly represented something especially meaningful: the freedom to be unapologetically yourself — big hair, rhinestones, bold dreams and all — while making room for others to do the same.

Her roots were here. Her impact reached everywhere.

Thank you, Dolly, for the music, the laughter, the generosity, and for showing the world that you can stand proudly in who you are while leading with love.

East Tennessee won’t be the same without you. 🦋🏳️‍🌈
