Building healthy communities by cultivating relationships between local farmers, producers, and the public.

After keeping a close eye on the forecast, we've made the difficult decision to cancel the Market Square Farmers Market this Saturday, October 10. 💚

We work hard to show up for our market community every week, rain or shine, and canceling a market is never a decision we take lightly. We know how much our customers look forward to shopping with us, and we know how much planning and preparation our vendors put into each market day.

Unfortunately, the combination of high winds and rain expected throughout market hours creates potentially dangerous conditions for our vendors, customers, and staff. Our top priority is making sure everyone in our market community stays safe, and in this case, that means sitting this Saturday out.

Thank you for your understanding and for being part of our market community. We're disappointed to miss a Saturday with you, but we look forward to welcoming everyone back next week!

This role works directly with farmers markets, farm stores, retailers, and community partners to expand access to affordable, local food across East Tennessee.
