Anne Templeton’s work bridges marketing, event strategy, and community-driven entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Director of Maker Initiatives for The Maker City, in partnership with Knoxville Entrepreneur Center, she plays a key role in amplifying the region’s maker economy.

Anne is a Miami transplant who came to Knoxville by way of UT, with chapters spent living in London and Hawaii along the way.

An avid reader, her all-time favorite book is Rebecca by Daphne du Maurier, while recent favorites include All the Colors of the Dark and Theo of Golden. She shares her love of reading with her trusted reading partner, Margo.

Anne chooses pie over cake, finds exercise through dance, and proudly considers herself a plant lover.. not a plant killer. When she's not chasing waterfalls or wandering mountain trails, she's often behind the scenes promoting the cool things other people are doing.
