Baraa, 8, was born with a congenital leg deformity and underwent bilateral amputations at age five. Mohammed, 15, lost both legs in a bombing in Gaza. Through HEAL Palestine's Global Healing Program, both are walking again and today, they walked together.

Muath, 14, lost his right leg in an airstrike in Khan Younis, Gaza. Through HEAL Palestine's Global Healing Program, he traveled to Mexico City to receive the rehabilitation and prosthetic care he needs to walk again.
This is Muath now, smiling and embracing every moment of his recovery. His journey is far from over, but his spirit never wavers.

Recently, a volunteer emergency medical team from Italy arrived in Palestine to continue HEAL Palestine's Point-of-Care Ultrasound training at Rafidia Hospital in the northern West Bank. Dr. Stefano Spinelli and Dr. Alessandro Lamorte, both POCUS experts from leading Italian hospitals are training local staff to improve patient diagnosis and care.
