Six months into the Renters' Rights Act, what's life like for the young people we support?

Even with greater protection under the act, many of them struggle to find somewhere to live in the first place.

Deposits, references and guarantors create barriers for those who are new to the UK and we know they are at greater risk of homelessness.

Lived experiences heard: real voices, real change. The theme of this year's is especially relevant to KRAN young people.

For many, traumatic journeys to safety and the challenge of settling into a new community can lead to loneliness, isolation and depression.

That’s why connection, friendship and belonging matter. Through our activities, our young people can meet others, make friends, build confidence and get active, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing. 💛

This UNESCO World Teachers' Day, we're celebrating all educators - but in particular, our Learning for Life team.

These teachers and teaching assistants make a world of difference to KRAN young people - and it's not only about the lessons. A warm welcome, a listening ear, building confidence and trust, and installing hope for the future are all on the curriculum.
