I’m working on a project that should bring Great benefit to Cuyahoga County first responders that are struggling with mental health and personal issues. It’s a pretty big task and is unfortunately taking my time away from my usual tasks at RUAF. We are still talking to struggling responders. Still studying and researching when we can and providing trainings as needed. If you know anyone or if you are interested in peer support in Cuyahoga County, please IM me.

🚨Mayday Alert for Chief Mecklemburg’s family🚨

Ohio’s Jamie Meklemburg served as the Fire Chief of Seven Hills for over six years. He previously held the rank of lieutenant with the Brooklyn Heights Fire Department and spent more than fifteen years with the Valley View Fire Department. Outside of his career, he was deeply involved in his children’s activities, coaching his daughter’s softball team and regularly attending his son’s hockey games and tournaments.

On April 5, 2026, Chief Meklemburg passed away after a battle with mental illness. He was widely respected and loved by both his community and the firefighters he worked alongside. He is survived by his 16-year-old daughter and 15-year-old son. A beacon of kindness, he exemplified what it means to be a public servant and a friend, touching many lives throughout his career. Let’s provide the Meklemburg family some love and support while they face this difficult loss.

Services for Firefighter/Paramedic Darrell Rose will be on March 15th at:

St. John Funeral Home

Visitation will be from 12p-2p.
Honor Guard Ceremony from 2p-3p
Prayer Service from 3p-4p

There will be a Celebration of Life following the services at a location to be announced.

Ohio’s firefighter/paramedic Darrell Rose both served his community of Bainbridge Township and was a loyal member of Bainbridge Professional Firefighters Local 5390 for over 20 years. A beacon of kindness, Darrell earned the respect and love of many as a family man and public servant.

Bainbridge Firefighters are mourning the loss of Firefighter/Paramedic Darrell Rose. Darrell was a dedicated member since 2005, and charter full-time member since 2017. He loved his 2 children. Darrell will be missed. Please keep his family in your prayers.
