Join us tomorrow (Wed. 5/6) for our in-person club meeting, informally entitled "Icebreaker/Mashed Tater"! It will be an exciting chance to see two different types of Toastmaster speeches.

We'll have our newest member present his first-ever speech to the club: an icebreaker speech. We'll also have a member practice her humorous speech, "Mashed Mayhem: A Tuber Tale," in advance of competing at the District 2 speech contest later this month. Learn more here: bit.ly/4eusJKq.

We went “5th Week Rogue” this week. Going outside our norm, we had a mini meeting consisting only of 30 minute of table topics. Not just any kind of table topics, but a version that combined charades as one part and voice over for another. We all felt a little goofy but it was fun and an awesome way to get us warmed up for a boatload of banter afterwards at Agave!

Funny. Educational. Inspiring. It's a Toastmasters meeting that is not to be missed!

This meeting will feature three very different speeches by Kent Evening Toastmasters. The subject matter and styles may be diverse, but what all three presentations have in common is that they demonstrate how gaining confidence in public speaking empowers you to tell your unique story and share your perspective. You'll leave inspired -- no April foolin'!
