A few months ago, Green Village Hope Children's Home welcomed a little boy they lovingly named Baby Smiles. At only two years old, he was full of life—jolly, independent, and resilient. Yet behind his bright smile was a painful beginning.
Baby Smiles spent his earliest days in a prison holding facility for children—an environment where his welfare was largely neglected. His father had been arrested, and his mother disappeared, leaving him alone in a place no child should ever call home.
When he arrived at the home, he carried both emotional wounds and physical illness. He had already been treated for scabies twice, but the infection returned—and quickly spread among the children and staff. At the same time, malaria struck, leaving many weak and bedridden. The situation became critical, and every available resource was used just to keep hope alive.
In that moment of urgent need, Resurrection Medical Mission stepped in—providing medical care and support to restore the health of every child and caregiver affected.
Today, we celebrate a different story.
Baby Smiles is smiling again.
The children are healthy, and full of energy.
Hope has been restored.
Together with RMM we are turning pain into healing, and broken beginnings into bright futures.
Thank you for standing with us. Your support makes moments like these possible.
