I was born with a growth under my right arm, attached to my chest wall, called a cystic hygroma. This particular fluid filled sac is caused from a blockage in the lymphatic system under my right arm. Unfortunately inside this sac, there are thousands of tiny cysts t
hat are wrapped around my nerves in my arm and shoulder as well. I need SEVERAL surgeries and treatments to begin to remove as much of the mass as possible without damaging the nerves in the right side of my body. Unfortunately, the doctors say that this will be a condition that will continue to grow back for the rest of my life.
