Yesterday was your birthday, my dear friend, and there was no way I was going to let it pass without celebrating YOU. πŸ’—
Linda Watkins , I miss that beautiful smile, your laughter, your strength, your faith, and simply having you here with us. We shared so many memories over the years, and I’m forever grateful for every one of them.

I was absolutely flipping out when I learned that I had been selected as a Blue KC Game Changer Award recipient! πŸ†πŸ’™ This honor celebrates leaders who are making an impact in the Kansas City community, and I still can't believe it happened to me.
With celebrities like Stephen and Ayesha Curry being recognized for their community impact and philanthropy, it's a reminder that making a difference matters on every level. Community leaders and changemakers are getting the spotlight they deserve in 2026. οΏ½

Today, I had the incredible honor of speaking at the Celebration of Life for my dear friend, Linda Watkins.

Linda was more than a breast cancer warrior. She was a woman of unwavering faith, a devoted educator, a mentor, a leader, and a treasured friend. She believed in me, stood beside me as we built Sisters Living Beyond the Ribbon, and dedicated her life to serving others with grace, compassion, and love.

Sharing this tribute was one of the greatest honors of my life. My prayer is that these words reflect just a small part of the incredible impact Linda made on so many of us.

Thank you, Linda, for your friendship, your wisdom, your encouragement, and your beautiful example of what it means to live a life of purpose.

Rest well, Warrior Queen. Your legacy will continue to live on in every life you've touched. πŸ’™πŸŽ€πŸ•ŠοΈ

A Beautiful Tribute to Linda Watkins πŸŽ€ A Pink Slingshot, A Last Ride, A Lasting Legacy
Today was more than a funeral processionβ€”it was a celebration of a life that inspired so many. πŸ’—
Seeing our breast cancer awareness Slingshot wrapped in pink ribbons with our beloved Linda Watkins' photo riding in the passenger seat was one of the most touching moments of the day. It was a reminder that while Linda may no longer be with us physically, her legacy of faith, courage, service, and survivorship will continue to ride with us wherever we go.
She wasn't just a breast cancer survivorβ€”she was a mentor, a leader, a friend, and a true warrior. Thank you, Linda, for showing us how to fight with grace, smile through every storm, and trust God every step of the way.
Your journey on earth may be complete, but your impact will never end. We love you. We miss you. We will continue the mission in your honor. πŸ’•πŸŽ€
"Well done, good and faithful servant." πŸ™πŸΎ
If Linda's life touched yours, please share a favorite memory or leave a pink ribbon in the comments. πŸŽ€πŸ’•
