When you come to Play Café, you’re doing more than finding a place for your child to play.

You’re investing in children. You’re supporting families. And you’re helping strengthen a Kansas City nonprofit that's been dedicated to healthy early childhood development and parent investment for over a decade.

Play Café is a social enterprise of Start at Zero (). Every visit helps support the bigger mission: partnering with parents and caregivers to promote healthy early childhood development for children, from the prenatal stage to age 5

So yes, come play. But also, come connect! Come take a breath while your child explores.

Your family gets something wonderful, and your visit helps make more possible for families in Kansas City.

A new month means more opportunities to play at Start At Zero Play Café! Here’s what’s happening this month:

🌟 NEW! Tuesday Evening Play has officially been added to our schedule! We’re also continuing our Thursday evening sessions to give families more after-work and after-school playtime options.

🛝 Open Play is just $12 for up to 3 people, with $2.50 for each additional guest.

🎉 Birthday Parties are now available on TWO Saturdays each month! Looking for the perfect place to celebrate? Check out our birthday party flyer for all the details.
