Meet Luna (second times a charm!!)

She has been with us for four months now and she is an amazing cat! She is cat friendly and tolerates living in a home with dogs (she would do best with dogs that will respect her and not chase her).

Luna is a sweet 3 year old girl who is ready to find her forever home! After being a wonderful mama to her kittens, she's ready to retire from motherhood and be spoiled herself. Luna enjoys getting pets, loves wet cat food, and absolutely adores Churu treats. She has a gentle, loving personality and would love a home where she can relax and enjoy all the attention she deserves.

We have amazing news about Luther!

Luther our 4 year old Standard Poodle came to extremely matted and underweight. He was a completely different dog then (rightfully so), now after staying with us for four months he has made amazing strides in his comfortability with other animals. He has made multiple dog friends, of all sizes! From dogs his size to our resident Chihuahua mix Gilly. He also made friends with a cat! No prey drive has been noticed with Luther. We hope this helps him in his journey of finding his forever home, because he absolutely needs it. He doesn't want to stay in a kennel for too much longer, help us help him find his people! Sturdy and respectful kids are still best for him. He has lots of energy when he feels like it! Although he does walk well on a leash!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped us meet our goal for the new sewer line at the Animal Rescue Project Charles & Lynn Zhang Animal Rescue Center. To Charles and Lynn Zhang, your continued support and matching fund made an extraordinary impact, and we are grateful.

To every donor, thank you for your ongoing commitment to our mission. Our needs are continuous, and this project was a major one. Your generosity made it possible. To our staff and volunteers, especially those washing laundry day after day, your dedication amazes me. I am personally honored by the overwhelming support shown by this community. Our mission to provide care to the animals at ARP will always come first, and your support ensures we can continue that work.

We have officially broken ground and the project is underway. We anticipate being fully up and running by next week.

Paris and her babies were recently pulled into a foster home here at ARP and despite the stress that Paris has gone through moving place to place, she has taken amazing care of her babies. Once her babies are weaned, she will finally get to learn what it's like to have a home of her own, to be well cared for, and to never have babies again. Until then, she will keep rocking being a mama!

A heartfelt thank you to Bronson and Zhang Financial for helping make our Paws Pump Pilates event such a success. We’re thrilled to share that 10 animals found loving homes during the event!!

Bronson employees showed incredible kindness and heart throughout the day. Zhang Financial’s generosity in sponsoring half off adoption fees made a tremendous impact for families during this time as well!

A special shout out to Michigan Cherry Coffee (Coffee Rescue) for providing fantastic coffee and a thoughtful donation.

And finally, thank you to everyone who donated, volunteered, and adopted. Your support continues to change lives, both human and animal. ❤️

ARP volunteer opportunity Sunday 10/11 at 1 pm. Come join in the community room. We will be meeting to put together some craft items for the upcoming shows. If you have crafts you are working on for the shows, bring them along. Our items need to have an animal theme. See you there!
