Courter Memory Center

Courter Memory Center We provide daytime care and companionship for adults living with dementia, cognitive decline, and age-related physical limitations.

Our focus is socialization through activities, reminiscing, music, and more, providing proper stimulation for each guest. We are an adult day center that will be assisting the Comstock area and surrounding communities. Adult day care is a great option for seniors who are living at home with loved ones and who require supervision during the day. Typical adult daycare options provide services such a

s medication management as well as meal and entertainment options. Our center will be specializing in caring for people who are experiencing Alzheimer's and Dementia and require assistance during the day. Pricing for adult daycare may be available on a daily basis as well as on an ongoing basis, depending on the way that seniors and their loved ones use it. Facilities are staffed by individuals trained to work with dementia and Alzheimer's clients.

Communicating with someone living with dementia can sometimes be difficult. A few simple tweaks can make it a bit easier. Whenever you're speaking with someone living dementia, the biggest thing to remember is to speak slowly and calmly and give them time to answer. Also, be patient...with them and with yourself!

A little rain couldn't stop the fun! We had a great time with our friends at Comstock Community Learning Center and Open Arms Mobile Petting Farm. Our guests enjoyed petting all of the animals and watching the kids play. A fun time was had by all!
