👀 Double Take… Is That a Buckskin Welsh Pony?! 👀

You bet it is! Meet Willow, our absolutely adorable buckskin Welsh pony gelding who is sure to steal your heart.

This charming 17-year-old stands out not only for his good looks, but also for his unique marking—what horse lovers fondly call a “prophet’s thumbprint” on his neck. It’s just one more thing that makes Willow extra special!

Willow may be a little shy at first, but don’t let that fool you—he truly enjoys getting to know his people and blossoms with patience and kindness. He was originally found by a caring couple who, due to circumstances beyond their control, made the difficult decision to bring him to Rainbow Meadows so he could find his perfect forever family.

He is saddle trained and currently brushing up his skills with a refresher under saddle. With his striking appearance and gentle nature, Willow is truly an eye-catcher both in and out of the pasture.

Meet Yeller – A Golden Gentleman
Isn’t he stunning? Meet Yeller, a handsome 20-year-old Palomino Tennessee Walking Horse gelding with a heart as golden as his coat.
Yeller absolutely adores people and thrives on attention. He enjoys long, relaxing walks through the pasture and on the trails—making him a wonderful companion for someone who appreciates a slower, more peaceful pace. Prior to coming to Rainbow Meadows, he even spent time with a trainer, giving him a nice foundation.
This special guy has a unique charm—he no longer has his top incisors, which means he comes with a healthy appetite and a little extra personality! He especially loves his Thrive feed and fresh green grass.

2026 “Spa & Sawdust” – And That’s a Wrap!

What a wonderful afternoon spent with our amazing volunteers during this year’s Spa & Sawdust event! We are so grateful for the many helping hands who came out to make this special day possible.

A special shoutout to the new volunteers from Footlocker who joined us—your energy and willingness to jump in and help made a huge difference, and we loved having you as part of our day!
From giving every horse a refreshing bath to preparing them for their photo ops, it was truly a team effort filled with laughter, hard work, and plenty of heart. These fresh photos will help showcase our horses on our updated adoption site as they wait for their forever homes.

We also want to give a huge thank you to the fantastic group who helped maintain and improve our pastures—ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for all of our horses.

This annual June tradition is not only about care and upkeep, but also about connection—bringing together familiar faces and welcoming new ones into our community.

Take a moment to meet some of our resident horses—both beloved regulars and new faces—each one patiently waiting for their perfect match.
