🌈 Help Rainbow Meadows Equine Rescue secure a forever home!

For more than 21 years, Rainbow Meadows has been dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming abused, neglected, abandoned, and owner-surrendered equines while also educating the community about responsible equine care.

They are now working toward a major goal: raising $1.2 million to purchase permanent property for the rescue. Securing a permanent home will provide long-term stability for the animals in their care and help ensure Rainbow Meadows can continue its mission for generations to come.

We want to take a moment to tell our amazing Rainbow Meadows Facebook family just how much we truly appreciate each and every one of you! From your words of encouragement, kind thoughts, amazing stories, and shared memories to the financial support so many of you have generously provided throughout the years, you have been an important part of our journey.

As we move forward into our 22nd year of rescue, we remain committed to carrying forward our founder’s mission of helping equines in need. Your love, encouragement, and unwavering support mean more than words can ever express. Rainbow Meadows would not be the same without the incredible community that continues to stand beside us and believe in what we do.

This past year has brought so much growth, so many changes, new beginnings, and, sadly, loss. Life at a horse rescue is an emotional journey. The emotions run the gamut from joy, excitement, and pure happiness when a horse finds a new beginning, to sadness and heartbreak when we experience loss. We celebrate the victories, learn through the challenges, and carry the memories of every horse who has touched our hearts along the way.

Through it all, the mission remains strong, and our commitment to the horses never wavers. Every horse deserves compassion, appropriate care, safety, and the opportunity for a better future. That belief is at the heart of everything we do at Rainbow Meadows.

Taking a moment to give a heartfelt shout-out to K-State and some of their amazing equine veterinary team!

Rainbow Meadows recognizes how incredibly important a strong partnership with your veterinarian can be and the tremendous impact it has on the quality of care our horses receive.

We are incredibly grateful for K-State Veterinary Medicine and the way they continue to step up when we need them most. From emergency and specialty care to the everyday medical needs of our herd, their team is always there to support us, our horses, and our mission.

The partnership between a rescue and its veterinary team is invaluable. Having professionals who understand our horses, our challenges, and our commitment to doing what is right for each individual horse makes such a difference.

Day 2 Lark and Libby

We are thrilled to welcome our two newest additions to the Rainbow Meadows family! Please meet Libby and Lark, two absolutely beautiful 8-year-old mares who have arrived and are settling into their new surroundings.

We are excited to get to know these two lovely girls, learn more about their personalities, and help them take the next steps in their journey. 🥰

Once they have had time to settle in, receive their evaluations and care, and we know them a little better, Libby and Lark will soon be looking for their forever adoptive homes. 🏡❤️

Another year, and another Dental Day is complete! 🦷🐴

A BIG shout-out to K-State Veterinary and their amazing staff for the care, expertise, and compassion they provide to our horses. We are incredibly grateful for the partnership and the continued dedication to keeping our equine residents healthy and comfortable.

And, of course, thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who came out to help! Your time, hard work, and willingness to jump in make these busy days possible and ensure that all of our horses receive the care they need.

It truly takes a village, and we are so fortunate to have such an incredible village supporting Rainbow Meadows! ❤️🐴

Friday was an AMAZING day! 🎉❤️

Why? Because it was adoption day for Yeller and Saffron! 🐴🐴

We are absolutely thrilled to see these two amazing Tennessee Walkers begin the next chapter of their lives in their new homes. They have each come so far on their journey, and there is nothing better than watching a rescue horse find the loving, forever home they deserve. 💕

Congratulations, Yeller and Saffron! May your new adventures be filled with love, happiness, and plenty of good days ahead. 🥰
