⚠️ I’VE BEEN MENDED INC. – EMERGENCY OFFICE CLOSURE ⚠️
Due to yesterday’s severe tornado damage, high winds, and widespread power outages across Will County, our facility is experiencing severe electrical instability with flickering lights and unsafe power surges.
For the absolute safety of our staff, our dedicated volunteers, and the families we serve, our physical office and community boutique will be CLOSED today, Wednesday, August 12.
Our hearts are with our families, neighbors, and volunteers on the East Side and in Preston Heights who are currently facing severe damage and total power outages. Please prioritize your safety: stay clear of downed power lines and check on your elderly neighbors.
We are actively monitoring the ComEd restoration timelines and will post an update here as soon as our power is stable and it is completely safe to reopen our doors.
