At our next meeting we will be learning more about The River.
They are hosting a craft fair which is their biggest fundraiser of the year so feel free to get some shopping in while supporting a good cause.
You're invited to attend our 2026 River Craft Fair on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 9 am to 2 pm. This event is in the basement of First Presbyterian Church located at 105 South Boone Street in downtown Johnson City. Join us for a cup of coffee, fresh baked treats, live music, and tons of crafts, foods, plants and garden decor, home and holiday decor, artwork, knitted and crocheted textiles, hand-sewn bags and stuffed animals, River Button Bracelets, and so much more. All proceeds, 100%, benefit The River and its mission to help women help themselves. Please save the date, mark your calendar, and invite your family and friends to attend. Your support provides free laundry and shower services, i mail and telephone support, feminine hygiene assistance, events and programming, a safe space M-F from 8-3, resource referrals, devotions, and 8,000 diapers distributed each month. We are a small ministry making a BIG DIFFERENCE in the day to day lives of the women we serve. Start your holiday shopping, buy yourself a treat, and support a great organization at the same time.
