Our rescheduled meeting on 2/19 was a hit! Jeremiah Cafe, as always, was a wonderful meeting location & learning about Kari's Heart Foundation, Inc. was just what our hearts needed. We continued our mission of Growing Healthy Generations & helping our community by donating feminine products to Johnson City Schools.

We bundled up and enjoyed a winter hike! The temps were cold, but the company (and steep ascent!) kept us warm! ❄️🥾☺️ — at Buffalo Mountain Park.

November General Meeting & Olson’s Martial Arts Academy was a hit! Thank you to Master Amanda in giving us a Tai Chi lesson. Our focus on growing healthy generations includes ourselves, too.

When an alliance member became aware of a neighbor who was suddenly the caregiver of her 5 grandsons, she reached out & we jumped in to help. Five young boys unexpectedly enjoyed trick-or-treating in fun costumes! We are here to help “grow healthy generations”! Happy Halloween 🎃

Our October General Meeting was another fun & informative event with good company & delicious food. We got to learn about Trinity Grace Farm with a presentation from Summit Leadership. Trinity Grace Farm is “Opening up the outdoors to all people of all abilities.”

Walk to End Alzheimer’s - Tri-Cities TN/VA 2025

Everyone held up a flower representing their relationship with Alzheimer’s & other dementias. We held purple (indicating you’ve lost someone to Alzheimer’s/dementia) & yellow (indicating you’re caring for someone living with Alzheimer’s/dementia) flowers. Over $104,000 was raised to fund support & research with the eventual goal of cure!

Looking forward already to walking in 2026!
