For the last few weeks I have had a single skunk awaiting friends. This particular stink muffin was found alone in the road in the city. Its very likely he was rolled by a car and mama abandoned him.

Upon admission I noticed he only made tight right circles. With the help of anti-inflammatory meds, time and cbd treatments he is walking straight and with purpose 💓

I was beging to think it may be time to call around and see if another rehab could take him in so he wouldnt be lonely anymore...Then the skunk gods rained down! 14 more babies arrived all in one day. Three different litters needed help. Of course I broke and accepted all of them 🦨💓

I might be a little stinky for a while but knowing these babies all get a chance at a happy healthy life makes it all worth it. 💓💓

As for my hubbys thoughts on them..... let's just say asking for forgiveness is easier than asking permission 🤣🤣🤣 Not that I need 'permission' but ya know what I mean 🤣😉

This guy doesn't mind the heat one bit... because hes inside with the nice AC and a gull belly ... not a care in the world 🤣🤣

Yesterday was a very productive day!!

I recruited my teenager to help with cutting trees and decorating outdoor enclosures.
My 4yo was on stuffy duty, she had to pick out a new stuffy for all the smaller babies.
My hubs built new squirrel boxes and my 1yo just looked looked cute watching us all working 🤣
3 groups of squirrels, 8 birds and 2 groups of raccoons are outside!! One step closer to wild and free 😁😁

My morning routine has been pretty consistent lately....An unhealthy amount of coffee and baby bottles galore 🤪🙃

Here's a little cutie having his breakfast ❤️ One of 15 still on a bottle 🤪🩷🦝

This little one was found all alone in a cemetery, cold to the touch and close to death.
Thankfully he was spotted by a sweet woman who called for help right away ❤️ Time was definitely of the essence for this little man. He is now thriving with plenty of new siblings 😍

There comes a time when I have to say 'no' to taking in any more babies. Theres just no where left for me to put them, not enough time in the day to feed, clean and make sure the human family is taken care of as well.

This little nugget is going to be one of the final baby raccoons i can accept this year. I told hubs id max out at 12 this year... we are currently over 20.... oops 🙃

So far this week I have been cussed out, hung up on, ignored and treated like garbage because I wasnt able to take in another baby or load up my 3 kids in the middle of the night and drive an hr to check a hit by car opossums pouch 😞 Some people are just plain old mean.
I try my best to let the negative in one ear and out the other.

So on a happier note we have some awesome updates!

📌Premie baby raccoon is in the tripple digits for weight, a whopping 120g and growing 🩷 He was just 46g at birth 😍
📌We have added a few new family members 🙃 2 chick's and a kitten. All brought by amazing Animal Control Officers 🩷 I cant say no when they send me cute pics 🤣
📌First round of coonies will be heading outside this weekend 😀
📌 Almost all bunnies have been released!!
📌Baby birds are starting to self feed... its a huge celebration when this happens 🤣

Back to the grind! Hope everyone is enjoying this gorgeous day 💗

Happy Saturday!!
I hope everyone is able to get out and enjoy the day before the rain comes 😁

Ill be here feeding babies and cleaning p**p till the end of time 🤣🤣

Im very allergic to bunnies, I dont do bunnies..... 🤣

When this nugget came in I didnt think he would last an hour, never mind weeks!

He was a newborn bunny, dehydrated, starving and being burned by the hot ground.... he was dying 😢

Not anymore!! This dude is unstoppable!

Many people ask 'how do you do it all' and the honest answer is I dont.

Yes, the baby animals (and humans) are fed and clean... yes, i play with my human kids... yes, we have plenty of food n snacks in the house...

However... I haven't folded laundry in 3 weeks...I use grocery delivery... I wear my youngest baby more than the average mama... my 4 year old is my live in volunteer helper... we order out dinner often...

Could I take in less animals so I could have a little bit more time to fold laundry, sure... but I like animals more than laundry anyways 🤣🤣
