🐣🌷 Happy Easter from Cub Scout Pack 46 Jefferson! 🌷🐣

Today we’re especially grateful for our amazing scouts and families who spent time together this past week giving back—helping clean up the grounds at St. Mary’s Church and showing what true community spirit looks like this Easter season.💙

From teamwork and service to smiles and laughter, it was a great reminder of what scouting is all about.

Wishing all of our Pack families and the entire community a joyful, peaceful, and happy Easter! 🐰🌼

Special Announcement:

We regret to inform you that the upcoming Cub Scout “Someone Special Dance” has been canceled due to a lack of advance ticket sales.

We were looking forward to bringing everyone together for a fun and memorable evening, and we truly appreciate the support and interest from those who planned to attend. Unfortunately, we did not reach the minimum number of registrations needed to move forward with the event.

If you have already purchased tickets, please know that full refunds will be issued.

We would also like to extend a sincere thank you to Holden based Unity Mike Photo https://www.unitymike.com for generously offering their time and talent to support this event. Their willingness to give back to the community was greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our Pack 46 Cub Scout community. We look forward to planning future events and hope to see you at the next one.

As the holiday break comes to a close, we are reflecting on what was an outstanding holiday season for Pack 46.

In early December, Pack 46 participated in Holidays in Holden, setting up the Snack Shack at the Senior Center. We offered snacks, hot dogs, and s’more kits for purchase for families visiting Santa and the Grinch, and it was great to see so many familiar faces come out to support the event.

In addition, Pack 46 built a lit and festive parade float for the Holidays in Holden Light Parade down Main Street. Our float featured a mini campsite complete with benches for our Scouts, a mock campfire, tent, tree, snowman, festive music, and—of course—a bunch of loud and rowdy Pack 46 Cub Scouts! It was an absolute blast and a highlight of the season.

A special thank you to Favreau Forestry of Sterling, MA for the generous donation of the truck and trailer used for the parade. We truly appreciate your continued support of the local community and Pack 46 Jefferson.

📣 Pack 46 Giving Back! 🇺🇸🍁

Last night, in collaboration with our friends and supporters at The Castle Keepers Cleaning Services our Scouts wrote heartfelt notes and cards to military personnel currently deployed and unable to be home with their families this holiday season. ❤️💌

In the spirit of this month’s theme of being thankful, our Scouts families also donated food and grocery gift cards for the St. Mary's Church Thanksgiving Food Drive. 🥫🦃

We were then honored to welcome Major Meghan, who shared an amazing presentation about the incredible work The Salvation Army does—globally, nationally, and right here in our local community—to support people who need a helping hand. 🙏🌍

It was a meaningful evening and a wonderful reminder of just how much we have to be thankful for. 💛
