We are an all volunteer, foster-based rescue. The Joshua Fund Dog Rescue needs your help! Our rescue operations have literally come to a halt. As a national rescue with numerous dogs in private foster homes around the United States, transporting dogs to NY for adoption has become a virtual impossibility. Caring for our existing dogs has drained our reserves and has severely hindered our ability to

Bowie is a 1-year-old Golden Retriever mix with adorable Basset traits and a personality that’s just as lovable as he looks! 💛

This sweet boy is friendly, playful, curious, and incredibly social. Bowie loves being around people and is happiest when he’s part of the action. Whether it’s going for walks, splashing in the water, playing with toys, or simply soaking up attention from his people, he’s ready to join in.

Bowie is house-trained, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. He is also wonderful with children, other dogs, cats, and even chickens — talk about a well-rounded guy!

At just a year old, Bowie is active and fun-loving, so he’d thrive in a home that will include him in their adventures and give him plenty of love and companionship.

Berkeley just got his second chance. Now, he needs a third.
From the moment four-year-old Berkeley came to The Joshua Fund Dog Rescue, we’ve been determined to give this sweet boy the fresh start he deserves. We are thrilled to have found a loving new family who cannot wait to welcome him.
Berkeley was almost home. ❤️
Then, unexpectedly, everything changed.
After a veterinary specialist consultation, we learned that Berkeley has a severe hip dislocation. He needs a total hip replacement to restore his mobility and give him the best chance at a comfortable life.
The estimated cost of his surgery and related medical care is approximately $12,000.
We can't let the cost stand between Berkeley and the life he deserves.

💙 Sawyer Update 💙

We’re so happy to share that Sawyer is doing so much better and is well on the road to recovery!

After being diagnosed with leptospirosis, Sawyer spent a week in the ICU receiving aggressive treatment and around-the-clock supportive care. Thankfully, this little fighter has responded incredibly well, and we’re beyond grateful to see him getting stronger every day.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has donated, shared his story, and kept him in your thoughts. Your kindness has truly made a difference and helped give Sawyer the care he needed.

While Sawyer is improving, his week-long ICU stay and intensive treatment have resulted in significant veterinary bills. If you’re able to help, donations of any size are still greatly appreciated and will go directly toward covering his medical expenses. Every contribution brings us one step closer to giving this brave boy the fresh start he deserves.
