Well look like the easter bunny was pretty busy this morning. He is hoping to see a bunch of you happy children and family at the Easter egg hunt. We have refreshments if you would like to come earlier to get a picture with the Easter bunny or after we also have a lot of prizes in the eggs, the Easter egg hunt start at 1 refreshments starts at 12. Hope to see you all there and this is open to all children .

The Easter bunny been really busy for our Easter egg hunt on Saturday. The Easter bunny is going to be here early so if you would like to get a photo and have some refreshments come down early the bays will have tables set up.

4TH OF JULY / JAY VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT CELEBRATION

Volunteers from the Jay Volunteer Fire Department have joined forces with the Christmas in the Forks Committee to plan for the annual 4th of July celebration in Jay. So far the two committees have met 3 times to prepare for the festivities to celebrate America’s 250th Birthday.

Special parade entries have been secured, 2 bands have been hired for the field day, a fireworks company has been secured, a big raffle will be announced soon, and a fundraising event has been planned for Saturday, May 16 at 20 Main Tavern from 3 - 7 pm.

Our next planning meeting is Thursday, April 9, at 7 pm at the Jay Fire House. Anyone wishing to assist either in the planning and/ or to volunteer for the July 4th activities is asked to please attend the meeting. All are welcome.
