JEMS Jams: Community Music Night

The Jay Entertainment & Music Society (JEMS) hosts JEMS Jams every Thursday from 7:00p.m.-9:00p.m at the Amos and Julia Ward Theater. This is a community music gathering where you can bring your favorite instrument, use your voice, or sit and listen. All skill levels are welcome to participate in this spirit of creative imagination, collaboration, and community.

Community invited for input at Oct. 14 virtual event

The Town of Jay invites community members to bring their voices to the outdoor recreation planning process. The next opportunity to hear updates and share ideas will be a virtual post-workshop event at 6-7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 14 via Zoom, with a link posted to town of jayny gov events-calendar. All who live in or visit Upper Jay, Jay, Au Sable Forks and neighboring communities connected by the Ausable River are welcome to attend—no experience required.

What are these things? I have lost the battle this season with these bugs. They are teeny, hard shell, round, and appeared in the garden this spring. I have never experienced them before. They attached them selves to leaves, primarily the tops. Started at vegetables, then bushes, flowers, etc. Then to the jugs, table, chairs. Any service they could find and glued themselves to it. Anyone know or experience these in the area??
