The Mecham Duo will perform at the Marvin House on July 9th, offering an evening of live music in a historic setting. Doors open at 6:00 for wine and refreshments, and the concert begins at 7:00.

Twin brothers Aaron and Boaz Mecham are accomplished young musicians with strong Jamestown roots. They began violin lessons at age 5 through Jamestown’s Suzuki program and later studied piano with the late renowned teacher Helga Hulse.

At 15, they enrolled at SUNY Fredonia and, in 2025, became the youngest graduates in the School of Music’s history, earning bachelor’s degrees in violin and piano performance summa cm laude.

They are now pursuing master’s degrees in Historical Performance at Oberlin Conservatory of Music, focusing on Baroque violin, harpsichord, and organ.

Today's the day!! GIVE BIG CHQ!!!
Mrs. Elizabeth Warner Marvin gave her beautiful home located at 2 W. Fifth Street in Jamestown, NY to provide for the establishment of a meeting place and headquarters for women’s organizations, “which have for their purpose the moral or mental improvement of women and are engaged in literary, musical, education, patriotic, scientific or historical work”.
This year, the Marvin House proudly celebrates its 75th anniversary—our Diamond Jubilee. We are delighted to mark this special milestone with a series of memorable events, including the opening of our new Exhibit Room which will explore the Marvins and Chautauqua County women who have made history. We have a story to tell!
