The Elizabeth Warner Marvin House is pleased to announce Margaret Coulter has joined its Board of Directors.
Margie, as she is known, retired in 2022 after a more than 30-year career in the Property and Casualty Insurance Industry. A lifelong resident of the Jamestown area, Margie has always loved living in Chautauqua County. She is a graduate of Jamestown Community College and Jamestown Business College.
Margie is an active member of First Covenant Church, where she has served in many roles over the years, including singing in the choir and The Living Christmas Tree choir, serving on the Leadership Team, and acting as church chairperson from 2022 to 2025.
Since retiring, she has enjoyed having more time to give back to her community and spend time doing the things she loves, including painting, reading, playing Mah Jongg, and especially making memories with family and friends.
Margie first visited The Marvin House after being invited to the Christmas luncheon by a friend. She immediately fell in love with the beauty and history of the home. With a longtime passion for historic homes and architecture, she became interested in helping preserve this local landmark and continue its legacy for future generations.
Margie encourages others in the community to visit The Marvin House and learn more about the important role women have played in shaping the area and continue to play today.
Please join us in welcoming her to the Board as we celebrate our 75th anniversary as a women's organization. πŸ’πŸ’›
