Zonta Club of Jamestown Celebrates Member Milestone Anniversaries
The Zonta Club of Jamestown recently recognized several members for their years of dedicated service and commitment to the club's mission of building a better world for women and girls.
During the club's June meeting, members were honored for reaching significant anniversary milestones in their Zonta membership.
Celebrating five years of membership were Linda Richards and Jo Haumesser. Recognized for ten years of service was Debbie Piotrowski. Bonnie DeJoy was honored for her twenty years of dedicated membership, while Suellen Carlson and Laura Corey were recognized for an impressive twenty-five years of service to the organization.
These milestone anniversaries represent decades of collective dedication to the Zonta Club of Jamestown and its efforts to improve the lives of women and girls through service, advocacy, education, and philanthropy. The honorees have contributed their time, talents, and leadership to support numerous community initiatives and programs throughout the years.
Founded in 1921, the Zonta Club of Jamestown is part of Zonta International, a leading global organization of individuals working together to build a better world for women and girls. Through service projects, scholarships, advocacy efforts, and educational programs, the club continues its mission of empowering women and promoting gender equality throughout the Jamestown area.

Zonta Club of Jamestown hosted its second annual Roper Romp today. Over 150 Helen Ropers romped through downtown Jamestown making stops at Northwest Arena, The National Comedy Center, Raven and Rune, and Wicked Warrens. All proceeds benefitted the Zonta Club of Jamestown whose mission is to make a better world for women and girls

Zonta Club of Jamestown Installs 2026–2027 Officers and Directors

The Zonta Club of Jamestown installed its officers and directors for the 2026–2027 club year during its June 3 Business Meeting held at the Chautauqua Harbor Hotel in Celoron.
Presiding over the installation ceremony was Area Director Rosie Papalia, who administered the oath of office and recognized the commitment of the incoming leadership team to advancing Zonta's mission of building a better world for women and girls.
Installed as officers were: Marcia Restivo, President; Beth Jermain, President-Elect; Debbie Piotrowski, Vice President; Bonnie DeJoy, Treasurer; Jill Colburn, Assistant Treasurer; Mary Cook, Secretary
Installed as Directors were Jessica Jacques and Jo Haumesser. Directors Bethany O'Hagan and Ellie Nickeson were unable to attend the ceremony.
The newly installed officers and directors will lead the club in its ongoing efforts to empower women through service, advocacy, education, and scholarship programs throughout the Jamestown area and beyond.
The Zonta Club of Jamestown is part of Zonta International, a leading global organization of professionals working together to build a better world for women and girls through advocacy, education, service, and leadership development.
